‘The Young and the Restless’ (Y&R) Spoilers here and we’re set to kick off a new week with some fun spoilery goodies to share.
It looks like we’re in for a character building episode as there will be some celebrating and fence mending happening, with a slight chance of drama.
Without further ado, let’s dig in!
‘The Young and the Restless’ Spoilers Monday, March 27: All quiet for now
With the celebration not imploding as of yet, Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) and Nikki Newman (Melody Thomas Scott) will be pleased with how things turned out.
Nikki is well deserving of the praise she’ll get for her efforts to put everything together, and Victor will be ready to pop the champagne following what looks to be a successful manipulation of people that know him well.
The latter will be an interesting topic going forward as there was maybe one percent of his reasoning being altruistic, but he’s good at making himself sounds like the most generous fellow around.
It’ll mainly depend on how Devon Hamilton (Bryton James) will look at it. He could, and rightfully so, be furious that Victor would insinuate himself into his life and try to manipulate him.
But since he’s relatively new to being one of Victor’s pawns, he’ll probably choose the path Jill Abbott (Jess Walton) did and accept it as a good gesture while burying the truth.
This will lead to an interesting decision he’ll have to make, and Jill will play a hand in that even if she doesn’t expect to.
‘The Young and the Restless’ Spoilers Monday, March 27: Making peace
With her part in the process done, Jill will take a more hands on approach toward mending things between Devon and Lily Winters (Christel Khalil).
She blames herself for their problems by wanting to take the company public, but in reality the real reason was Devon’s inability or unwillingness to work with others.
He pushed Nate Hastings (Sean Dominic) away, then turned on Lily and things went south from there.
But now that the company doesn’t need to go public to fulfill Jill’s ambition she’s going to try to smooth things over, and this is where “The Young and the Restless” Spoilers think it could get interesting.
With Victor’s tribute to Neil Winters (Kristoff St. John) reminding Devon how important family is, he may realize his role in things and think it’s better if he breaks away.
While he’d still like the company he built with Neil, he could decide it’ll be in good hands with his sister and he’ll work to build a new company with Tucker McCall (Trevor St. John).
It’s a stretch, especially since the writers avoid having Victor fail at anything, but it would be a pretty cool way for him to bury the hatchet with Lily and honor both of his fathers.
What do you think Devon will do? Let us know in the comments below and check back with “The Young and the Restless” Spoilers for the latest updates, spoilers, and speculation.
