    Impact Wrestling Results (4/27) - ABC (Chris Bey, Ace Austin) Defeated The Design (Angels, Kon) w/Deaner by Pinfall; Jody Threat Defeated Seleziya Sparx BY Pinfall; Frankie Kazarian Talked his Early Days in Impact Wrestling; Knockouts World Championship - Deonna Purrazzo Defeated Taylor Wilde w/KillLynn King by Pinfall

    Impact Wrestling Results returned as The Design came to the ring and Deaner looked unhinged instead of his normal stoic self. This doesn’t look good for his team’s chances.

    This should be a fun match and we can’t wait to see what mayhem Callihan has planned for Deaner.

    Angels started off fast with some strikes and a pin attempt on Bey, but Bey got loos and Ace blond tagged in for a double team Click, Click, Boom on Angels.

    As soon as Kon tagged in, they hit him with a series of double teams, but Kon ran the ropes with Bey on his back and ran Ace over with a clothesline.

    He threw Bey to the floor and Bey grabbed his ankle as Angels hit a leg drop for a near pinfall on Ace.

    Backstage, Marella was knocked senseless again.

    Ace fought back with a heavy right on Angels, but missed a step up kick to get loose and ate a half and half suplex.

    Ace caught Angels with a kick and tagged in Bey, and Bey dropped Kon off the apron with a dropkick to his legs and hit a Code Red on Angels for a near pinfall.

    Ace sent Angels over the top rope and into Kon with a backdrop, and he and Ace traded dives into Kon before Dean stepped in their way so they could be attacked from behind.

    Callihan came out of nowhere and ran Deaner over and pummeled him before taking off into the fans.

    Ace and Bey finally managed to chop Kon down with their dives and threw Angels into the ring before dropping Kon with a double kick.

    Angels then ate an Art of Finesse and the Fold while Callihan laughed from the crown.

    Backstage, Marella said he managed to grab a tuft of hair, and when the doctor told Marella to go home and rest, Dirty Dango resigned from Assistant Dictator of Authority and dubbed himself Detective of Authority.

    Jody Threat vs. Seleziya Sparx

    Jody controlled the match early on with a wrist lock and took Sparx down and forced her to get to the ropes to break the hold.

    Sparx nailed Jody with a couple of heavy blows, but Jody ran her over with a shoulder tackle and a sitton.

    Jody fired off a German Suplex and an F-416 for the win.

    Part one of Kaz’s interview

    Gia Miller talked with Frankie Kazarian about how he got his start in Impact in the TNA days, and he explained how he was called in by Scott D’Amore and they brought him back week after week.

    It was something he always wanted to do as he got to wrestle some of the best in the world.

    He talked about the Good Ole Boy system was still in place, and because he and others saw it creep in he learned that he didn’t want to be one of the veterans in the ring and booking that didn’t want to give up their spot.

    He saw the dirty business side, and it takes a huge toll on you emotionally.

    Knockouts World Championship – Deonna Purrazzo vs. Taylor Wilde w/KillLynn King

    They traded holds early on as Purrazzo focused on Wilde’s left arm.

    It remained a stalemate when King grabbed her leg and Wilde took advantage by nailing her from behind, but while she gloated Purrazzo went for a Fujiwara Armbar and Wilde managed to slip to the floor.

    Thanks to King picking the perfect spots, Wilde kept taking control back from Purrazzo and locked in a crossface from a leg scissors.

    They hit each other with a crossbody off the ropes, then traded blows before Purrazzo fired off a pair of clotheslines and a knee lift.

    After getting to the ropes to break a Fujiwara, Wilde went for her finisher but Purrazzo locked in a Venus de Milo for the win.

    After the match, King attacked Purrazzo from behind and they beat down Purrazzo until Grace ran out to make the save and she took on King before she and Purrazzo sent them to the floor.

    Grace pointed at the title, but they shook hands afterwards and Grace left the ring. Purrazzo held the title high for her to see before Grace headed to the back.
