‘The Young and the Restless’ (Y&R) Spoilers here and we’re set for some more fun and games as we settle in for another character development episode.
This should be a fun one as we get to some of the usual of distrust and betrayal with a couple of new twists coming our way.

‘The Young and the Restless’ Spoilers Thursday, April 27: Loyalties in doubt
It didn’t take long for Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow) to find himself having his loyalties questioned, and of course it’s by another Newman.
At least this time it isn’t Victor Newman (Eric Braeden), though Victoria Newman (Amelia Heinle) will jump to conclusions just as fast as their father does when he accuses him of leaving her to work with Adam Newman (Mark Grossman).
“The Young and the Restless” Spoilers are curious if she’ll hear about Victor’s plans and assume Nick will obey — he does have a noodle-like backbone at times.
She’ll feel betrayed at him agreeing to work with Adam over her, and once more Nick will have to diffuse her anger and hurt by telling her he refused to leave.
Which means he will, but maybe not today.
‘The Young and the Restless’ Spoilers Thursday, April 27: Trying to stay out of trouble
While Victoria deals with her own frustrations, Nate Hastings (Sean Dominic) will take steps to protect himself from his inevitable fall.
There are a few ways he could do this, with one being an over sell that’ll cause Elena Dawson (Brytni Saroy)’s radar ping pretty wildly.
So we think he’ll take the safest route and invite Elena to go with him to LA on his business trip. It may also tip Elena off that something’s up, but we think her schedule will be too tight and she’ll have to decline.
Time to set our clocks to Nate’s next cheat.
‘The Young and the Restless’ Spoilers Thursday, April 27: Has Phyllis changed?
Now that Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford) has shown herself to Summer Newman (Alison Lanier) and it’s not a dream, she’s got some explaining to do.
We expect it to be along the lines of what’s she’s been preaching and lay all of the blame on Diane Jenkins (Susan Walters). The question is, will Summer continue to buy into her lies after being betrayed?
It’ll be interesting to see, and we’re looking forward to seeing how Summer will react given how far and hard she’s fallen since Phyllis’ trick.
