‘The Young and the Restless’ (Y&R) star, Victoria Rowell, (Drucilla Winters) is celebrating her 64th birthday today. Even though her character, Drucilla Winters is missing and presumed dead, fans miss Victoria and they celebrate the actress as she hits a new milestone today.

Victoria Rowell was born on May 10, 1959, in Portland, Maine. After working as a much-in-demand runway and catalog model, the 64-year-old, joined started walking the acting path in 1987.
She made her debut in the comedy film, Leonard Part 6. She went on to feature on two CBS shows — daytime drama As the World Turns and sitcom The Cosby Show. Fast-forward to 1990, Rowell started acting on The Young and the Restless.

She was first seen on May 7 of that year and starred on the show until April 1998. Rowell steered her ‘Young and the Restless’ character, Drucilla Winters, from an illiterate criminal to a prima ballerina and then to a model. Victoria’s work on the show earned her four NAACP Awards for Outstanding Actress in a Daytime Drama Series.
Concurrent with her ‘Young and the Restless’, stint, the actress starred on the CBS primetime series Diagnosis: Murder, where she appeared in 163 out of 178 episodes.
Other acting credits to her name include The Distinguished Gentleman, Dumb & Dumber, Full Eclipse, Barb Wire, and Eve’s Bayou. She also reprised her Y&R role of Drucilla on two occasions – between February and September 2000 and between August 2002 and April 2007. Viewers last saw Drucilla when she plummeted from a cliff and into the rushing water below.
Some of her other acting credits are guest-starring roles in episodes of Single Ladies, Ghost Whisperer, Let’s Stay Together, Law and Order: SVU, and Mann & Wife. Victoria has also played The Rich and the Ruthless‘ Kitty Barringer since 2017. She is also the author of a memoir, a co-author of an entertainment book, as well as a director.
