WWE Smackdown Results returned as the introductions were made.

Raquel and Kai started it off and Kai tried to stay one step ahead, but Raquel’s power kept her reigned in and Morgan tagged in and took it to Kai.

Kai turned it around with a heavy right and tagged in Bayley, and after a run Raquel stepped in and used Morgan as a battering ram on Damage CTRL.

WE LOVE IT! 😂👏@RaquelWWE just used @YaOnlyLivvOnce as a battering ram!

Can #DamageCTRL top this and leave tonight with the #WomensTagTitles?#SmackDown pic.twitter.com/9Vjz9mesZv

    — WWE (@WWE) May 13, 2023

Kai blind tagged in and she hit a meteora off the top rope but looked like she hurt her left leg. She managed to pin Morgan, but Raquel broke up the pin.

Bayley dragged Kai over and tagged in, Raquel kept SKY from using the title belt, and Morgan shoved Bayley into Sky and rolled her up for the win.

    Asuka makes a statement

Bianca Belair came out to celebrate being the longest reigning women’s champion, but Asuka cut her celebration short by coming out.

In the ring, Asuka shook her hand and sprayed her mist into Belair’s eyes and danced around as officials came out to help Belair.

    That's one way to celebrate @BiancaBelairWWE's historic reign… 🤮

    Not cool @WWEAsuka. Not cool. #SmackDown pic.twitter.com/YwlsmtO0Sh

Backstage, Belair continued screaming while officials tried to help her get the mist out of her eyes.

World Heavyweight Championship Tournament Semi-Final – Bobby Lashley vs. AJ Styles

Styles used his speed to hit and move early on, and Lashley continued to try to work Styles into a corner, and when he did he dropped him with a knee and pummeled him.

Lashley built a head of steam for a running clothesline, but Styles ducked and fired off a series of chops, but when he tried to throw Lashley into the ropes Lashley threw him over the ropes to the floor.

Lashley followed him out and slammed Styles into the apron and drove him into the ring post.

Styles chopped Lashley down with a series of kicks to Lashley’s left knee and stomped away, but then ran into a back elbow and Lashley pounded on him again.

Styles avoided a shoulder and rolled Lashley into a Calf Crusher, but Lashley grabbed Styles and slammed his head into the mat several times to break the hold.

Despite Lashley fighting back, Styles kept working on his leg and hit a DDT for a near pinfall.

Lashley hit a flapjack for a near pinfall, then went for a gut wrench, but Styles got loose and hit a running right.

With a WORLD HEAVYWEIGHT CHAMPIONSHIP opportunity on the line, these men are giving each other EVERYTHING they've got! 🏆

    Who will face @WWERollins at #WWENOC? @fightbobby or @AJStylesOrg? 🔥#SmackDown pic.twitter.com/qHyDKZdF6S

    — WWE (@WWE) May 13, 2023

Styles went for another running punch but Lashley caught him in the Hurt Lock. Styles managed to get to the ropes to break the hold.

Styles shoved Lashley into the ring post and went for a Phenomenal Forearm, but Lashley grabbed him.

    One for the ages

Lashley rolled through a Calf Crusher attempt and they traded right before Lashley was finally able to hit a running powerslam for a near pinfall.

Styles slipped through the ropes to avoid a spear and Lashley hit the ring post and Styles hit a running knee and then a Phenomenal Forearm for the win.

Styles celebrated by the World Heavyweight Championship title as the OC came out to celebrate with him as the show went off the air.

This was a fun show and this match is the perfect way to book a smaller wrestler against a giant or powerhouse. Great job by both. now Styles will face Seth Rollins at Night of Champions.
