It appears that the conflict may be related to RJ’s return to Los Angeles. RJ is a Forrester has ties with the Logan clan and he believes that Brooke and Ridge should be together. However, Steffy does not agree.
She fears that her father will get heartbroken again. She has tried not to meddle in her parent’s relationship, but does not stop talking about how she believes that Taylor still loves Ridge.
And seeing Taylor become the ultimate loser in the love triangle with Ridge and Brooke could strain Steffy’s relationship with her father and brother. There’s also the complicated situation between Hope and Thomas.
If something the ex-lovers pass their boundaries by exploring their feelings, Steffy might hold Hope responsible for disrupting Thomas’ recovery.
Ridge will also have to be very careful so as to avoid pushing Brooke away after getting back with her, as his reaction to Thomas and Hope crossing their boundaries could worse the tension with Steffy.
Also, Ridge and Steffy currently serve as co-CEOs of Forrester Creations, so father and daughter work together harmoniously.
This only means that their personal problems will find a way to spill over into professional territory, and this may jeopardize the future of the company. There may even be a power struggle which will cause either Ridge or Steffy to step down as a co-CEO.
