‘General Hospital’ (GH) Spoilers here and we’re ready to close out the week with some fun spoilery goodies to share.
This episode looks like it’s going to be a fun one as we get to see what Laura Collins (Genie Francis) and Valentin Cassadine (James Patrick Stuart) have been up to and what success they may have had in the minute or so since we’ve seen them.
We’ll also get another glimpse into Carly Spencer (Laura Wright)’s regression into her hypocrite queen status now that all humility and character growth she had the last couple of months is being tossed aside.
Without further ado, let’s jump into some spoilers!
‘General Hospital’ Spoilers Friday, July 28: Cause for concern
While Laura and Valentin continue to make some headway in their search for Nikolas Cassadine (Adam Huss), there’s a good chance they’ll run into some trouble since why would anything be easy?
“General Hospital” Spoilers expect their attempts to find Nikolas will shed some light on who is after Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard), but that’ll come at a cost.
While they’re dealing with new challenges, their radio silence won’t sit well with some, and Esme Prince (Avery Kristen Pohl) will voice her concerns to Spencer Cassadine (Nicholas Chavez).
It seems like they’ve been growing closer lately, or at least Esme’s been feeling more comfortable around Spencer, so there’s a decent chance he’ll open up to her and they’ll have a pleasant moment.
Of course, there’s no way to tell how Spencer’s feeling after his chat with Portia Robinson (Brook Kerr) and he could either buy into what she was selling and go all in with Esme to bury his pain or stand more firm and be antagonistic.
Either one will be interesting to see play out.
‘General Hospital’ Spoilers Friday, July 28: Carly’s at it again
Lazy writing by gifting Carly a way out of her financial doom instead of letting her use her wiles and intelligence to work her way into starting a new business has also brought back her arrogant hypocrite queen stage.
After going after Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros) when Nina was trying to thank her, she decided to act like the victim and will probably tell Josslyn Jacks (Eden McCoy) that Nina was gloating and the Cult of Carly will begin anew.
Sure, it’s a major character flaw Carly has, but “General Hospital” Spoilers are more upset at the writers taking the easy way out to undo the growth she’s undergone the last few months.
The fact they apparently didn’t feel she’s not smart enough to find her own way out of the mess her life became speaks wonders. Maybe this is their way of resetting her for the new writers coming in?
Maybe they’ll actually listen to fans and move on from drawing these storylines out and taking the lazy way out.
What will Laura and Valentin find? Let us know in the comments below and check back with “General Hospital” Spoilers for the latest updates, spoilers, and speculation.
