Seth Rollins & Finn Balor are linked in WWE. The first big match that Balor won after leaving NXT was the match to crown the first ever WWE Universal Championship – a match which Balor won with one good arm.
The next night on RAW when Balor had to give up the belt, Rollins laughed in his face. Balor would bottle up the frustration he felt in that moment, letting it stew.
Now that Rollins is the WWE World Heavyweight Champion, Balor has unleashed his anger – and is prepared to laugh at the downfall of Rollins.
Finn Balor Is A Bitter Man – And Knows Seth Rollins Is Hurt
Seth Rollins would take time to soak in the crowd singing his theme song before even entering the ropes. Balor would have extra time to stew as a result, with even a UK based crowd not being behind him. Rollins was bandaged up coming into this match as a result of attacks from Balor, and this match would start with a brawl.
Balor would target the ribs with a kick, before being run into the corner and out of the ring. Rollins would hit a dive to the floor, before Balor would drive Rollins into the barricade.
A brawl on the floor would see Rollins take control. In the ring, he tried for a Buckle Bomb – but Balor countered and hit the jumping double stomp onto the ribs.
Balor would punch Rollins in the ribs, the tape being a blinking red target on the body of the champion. Rollins would be thrown to the floor, as Balor would mock Rollins before beating him up on the floor. Back into the ring, Balor continued to attack the ribs in the ring, but Rollins fired back with a discus lariat.
Rollins would hit a series of strikes to the jaw of Balor, before a running knee – but couldn’t make a cover. Balor would hit a slingblade, but as he tried for the shotgun dropkick Rollins hit a superkick and the Buckle Bomb. That was the move that injured Balor years ago, and would just fire him up.
Damien Priest Gets Involved – Causing A Rift In Judgement Day?
Rollins took to the air with a diving splash, but Balor got his knees up. Dropkick would land, and Balor was planning to end things with the Coup De Grace.
Rollins would avoid the diving stomp, before missing the Curb Stomp and hitting a rolling elbow. Balor missed a Pele Kick, and Rollins hit a Pedigree before getting a tired cover for a two count.
Mr. Money In The Bank Damien Priest would come to ringside – distracting Rollins and allowing Balor to get a two count off a roll up.
Rollins was unable to focus on Balor with Priest at ringside, but he’d just take a seat – seeing how things pan out. Balor would hit a bigtime dropkick, before shoving Rollins into the announce table and jumped off with a double stomp.
Balor would hit the stomp off the steps next, before rolling Rollins into the ring. Dropkick into the corner would set up the Coup De Grace, and Priest would stand up – distracting Balor in the process. Balor missed the Coup De Grace, and Rollins hit the Curb Stomp for the win before locking eyes with Priest.

When Priest had his chance at becoming champion, Balor came to ringside and costed him his match by accident – but Priest seemed to be more deliberate. Balor & Priest would argue, as the champion would slip away – no cash in tonight.
