‘Days of Our Lives’ (DOOL) Spoilers here and we’re set to keep the ball rolling with some fun spoilery goodies to share.
There’s a lot going on in Salem, and there’s going to be some interesting personal developments as well as a power struggle in the mayor’s office.
Let’s get into some spoilers!
‘Days of Our Lives’ Spoilers Tuesday, August 15: Returning to business
After Paulina Price (Jackée Harry) pled her and Chanel DuPree (Raven Bowens)’s case, Abe Carver (James Reynolds) decided he’s going to try to reclaim his position as mayor.
Clint Rawlings (Grayson Berry) has been letting his racism show with his recent decisions, and we expect he’ll do everything he can to block Abe from returning to office.
He’ll make some good points, like until Abe’s memory returns he won’t be a good mayor. Abe will counter that he has no ties so there won’t be playing favorites.
This should be a good scene, but it still leaves “Days of Our Lives” Spoilers wondering why Abe would agree to have Clint as his running mate.
We find it hard to believe he was able to hide his racism from Abe, but then Salem may have different rules. Or it’s just a lazy way for the writers to put some of their political slant into it since we think Clint is their version of Ron DeSantis.
We’ll just have to wait and find out.
‘Days of Our Lives’ Spoilers Tuesday, August 15: Johnny confesses his love
After doing some soul searching, Johnny DiMera (Carson Boatman) will come clean with Chanel and admit he still loves her and wants to give their relationship another chance.
This has been a long time coming and it’d be fun to see them together again, but it looks like Chanel will have feelings for Talia Hunter (Aketra Sevillian). Or so we think she’ll say when she talks to Paulina.
It’s not a surprise since she’s a veteran of navigating love triangles the last couple of years, but this also comes at a time when she needs as little emotional baggage as possible.
Of course, we could be wrong and she won’t feel anything but familiarity and friendship toward Johnny, which will make him want to win her over after losing out on Wendy Shin (Victoria Grace).
There’s a few ways this can go and we’re curious what the writers have planned for Chanel and Johnny.
