There’s plenty going on in Port Charles, and it looks like a couple of them are going to escalate. How fast and how much are going to be interesting to see, so we’ve got the popcorn ready.

‘General Hospital’ Spoilers Tuesday, August 29: Gladys gets desperate
Now that the end is near for her own safety, Gladys Corbin (Bonnie Burroughs) is going to the one person she knows will not let Sasha Gilmore (Sofia Mattsson) down.
Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros) would do anything for Sasha, and Gladys is going to use that when she goes to her for help with her gambling debt and paying off Dr. Damon Montague (Darin Toonder).
We’re sure Gladys will omit important details like her role in everything and try to come across as the horrified mother-in-law.
She may be that, but it’s an abrupt about face after ignoring calls from Ferncliff and pretending Sasha having her mind melted by drugs wasn’t her problem.
This redemption angle is dead on arrival for “General Hospital” Spoilers. Gladys needs to pay for what she did big time.
‘General Hospital’ Spoilers Tuesday, August 29: Against the clock
While it’s nice the tiny shred of Gladys’ conscience finally kicked in, but it could be getting too late for Sasha.
The good doctor is going to give her something he promises will take away all of her pain, and we’re thinking he’s going to overdose her.
After all, Gladys hasn’t come up with the money yet and he’ll have the medical documents in order to protect himself. All that’s left is to eliminate the one person that could get him into trouble.
This is going to be a rough scene, but one that has plenty of potential to go several ways.
He could succeed and that’s the end of Sasha, but we don’t think that’ll happen. The other is he just intends to give her a healthy dose to leave no doubts she found a way to use.
Of course, this would be the moment Cody Bell (Josh Kelly) is committed by Sam McCall (Kelly Monaco) and they could walk in and stop him.
There are other possibilities, but those feel like the most likely scenarios to us, though Cody being admitted would’ve had to happen fast offscreen, unless Sam simple sneaks him in as a patient.
