‘General Hospital’ (GH) Spoilers are set to kick off a new week, and this looks like there’s going to be plenty of intrigue ahead of us.
Things are going to take a couple of turns and we’ll be moving closer to finding out who all is behind the attack on Deception and Sonny Cortinthos (Maurice Benard).
Without further ado, let’s get to some spoilery goodies!
‘General Hospital’ Spoilers: Turning up the heat
As they near their trial, Maxi Jones (Kirsten Storms) will continue to try to keep Team Deception positive that things will work out, and one of the ways she’ll do that is by pointing out that now they could find out who’s behind all of this.
Since we expect this to be drawn out for a while yet in typical “General Hospital” custom, there will probably be a false flag or two thrown up.
One of those will be the return of Jackson Montgomery (Walt Willey), most likely as the lawyer behind the lawsuit against them.
He’ll draw their ire as they attempt to learn who is behind the lawsuit and attacks, but we think he’ll avoid their questions and his client won’t be there since there’s no need.
‘General Hospital’ Spoilers: One for the team
It looks like Dex Heller (Even Hofer) is going to get himself into some trouble while spying for Sonny, and we’re curious what it is.
Of course, the weekly preview video makes it look like Carly Spencer (Laura Wright) is warning him, and she may be, but their creative editing has fooled us a few times in the past.
In this case, we suspect he’s going to stumble onto Cyrus Renault (Jeff Kober)’s operation, and that could escalate things pretty quickly.
“General Hospital” Spoilers have enjoyed the increased pacing of the show, but we don’t think any action with Dex will lead to anything big for now, but it’ll definitely lay the groundwork for what’s to come.
Add to that Brick (Stephen A. Smith) will advise Sonny that this whole thing could be nothing more than someone wanting all of Sonny’s money for himself.
It seems like a too simple an explanation, but it makes sense and it’d be one way to cripple Sonny and make him suffer similar to how Cyrus has suffered being locked away.
It still leaves it open on if Cyrus is truly evil or views himself as the greater good trying to take down the sinners of the world.
Either way, this will be fun seeing Sonny and Cyrus face off again.
Who do you think is the mastermind behind the lawsuit against aptly named Deception? Let us know in the comments below and check back with “General Hospital” Spoilers for the latest updates, spoilers, and speculation.
