Countdown to Multiverse United 2 – Heath, Yuya Uemura, and Joe Hendry vs. Ryusuke Taguchi, Rocky Romero, and Wato
Heath started it off against Romero and traded armbars until Heath caught him with an inverted atomic drop and clothesline.
Romero fired back with a head scissors and tagged in Taguchi and they stomped him down, but Heath reversed a whip and sent Romero into Taguchi’s backside.
After eating Taguchi’s backside, Heath tagged in Hendry, and he ate a piece as well.

Mato tagged in and he nailed Yuya and Heath, then fired off some kicks on Hendry before eating a clothesline and Heath tagged in for a double team chops, but Mato shoved them into each other and then a double bulldog.
Romero, Taguchi, and Wato took out their opponents with crossbodies over the top rope on three sides of the ring.
Heath turned it around by nailing Wato on the apron, then worked him toward Heath’s ring on the outside and tagged in Hendry.
Hendry went to work and hit a squat stalling suplex for a near pinfall.
Yuya tagged in and they hit a double elbow on Wato for another near pinfall. He then took out Wato’s tag options before hitting a body slam and tagging in Heath.
Wato fought free and tagged in Romero, and he took Hendry down with a head scissors and a sliced bread on Heath.
Hendy caught him with a boot, then hit a double fallaway slam on Romero and Wato.
Yuya came in and avoided Taguchi’s back attack and nailed him with a clothesline and a bulldog.
Taguchi went for a rollup, and Yuya returned the favor for a couple of near pinfalls.
Yuya closed it out with a crossbody on Taguchi for the win.
Countdown to Multiverse United 2 – Digital Media Championship – Kenny King (c) vs. Yoshinobu Kanemaru
This should be another fun one, and Kanemaru went for an armbar, but King reversed out of it and kipped up.
Kanemaru went back to trying to wear King down with a side headlock, and they met with shoulder tackles with no effect and King did some pushups after one.
They crisscrossed and Kanemaru hit a basement dropkick to King’s left knee and went back to a headlock.

King poked him in the eyes and hung him up on the top rope before hitting a clothesline for a near pinfall.
King locked in a Camel Clutch, but Kanemaru powered out of it and King hammered him down for his efforts.
Kanemaru avoided a leg drop off the ropes, then ducked a clothesline and the pair hammered away on each other before Kanemaro countered a slam attempt with a reverse DDT.
Kanemaru followed it with another DDT for a near pinfall, then hit a moonsault off the top rope for a near pinfall.
King blocked a suplex and went for a sunset flip, then a spinebuster for another near pinfall. Kanemaru pushed the ref into King and grabbed some whiskey, but missed his amber mist.
King closed it out with a Royal Flush for the win to retain the Digital Media Championship.
