We’re less than 24 hour away from the biggest main event match in the history of All Elite Wrestling. MJF is going to put the AEW World Heavyweight Championship on the line against Adam Cole.
This is the payoff to a summer of drama, as they went from wrestling a 30 minute draw as bitter rivals, to challenging for the AEW World Tag Team Championships as best friends. MJF would offer the title shot to Adam Cole, and is prepared to make history – but the moment is not beyond him.
MJF Can’t Sleep Ahead Of All In
Taking to Twitter / X, MJF would describe how he’s feeling ahead of All In – having walked around Wembley Stadium already.
I can’t sleep. I walked around the empty stadium last night just in awe of where I am in life.
Not just physically but emotionally. You and Adam have all changed me for the better. Old me would have said “of course I’m in the main event in front of a record breaking crowd, I’m MJF” …and while that is true 😉
Transparently I would also like to say thank you to everyone that got me here. That trusted me with your hard earned money and time. Let’s become legendary, together. Let’s go ALL IN.”
Finally Time For The Devil To Be For The People
We have seen MJF blend the lines between being a face and a heel – but never quite as much during his feud with Adam Cole.
MJF is starting to truly show signs of his first full face turn as part of the AEW roster. The idea that MJF would finally change after being able to find a genuine friend is a fun storyline idea for this character.
Add in that Adam Cole has been much giving more hints at turning on MJF to ensure he becomes the next AEW World Heavyweight Champion.
Cole is someone who prides himself at becoming a top champion wherever he lands, being a 3x Ring Of Honor World Champion, and 1x WWE NXT Champion. He’s not someone who hides his desires well – and both Cole & MJF know this well.
Their night begins as part of All Out Zero Hour, when they will challenge for the Ring of Honor Tag Team Championships – a set of belts Cole wasn’t able to claim despite his success in the company.
