‘The Young and the Restless’ (Y&R) Spoilers here and we’re ready to keep things moving and we have plenty of fun spoilery goodies to share to make it so.
This looks like it’s going to be a fun character building one with a couple of twists and a new friendship in the works.
Without further ado, let’s dive in!
‘The Young and the Restless’ Spoilers Thursday, August 10: The crown jewel
Things are going to be heating up in the Abbott family war as Ashley Abbott (Eileen Davidson) will be looking to make peace with Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman) to placate her daughter while plotting to take over Jabot.
While they’re not taking an active role, Ashley and Tucker McCall (Trevor St. John) have made it clear they want Billy Abbott (Jason Thompson) to help Diane Jenkins (Susan Walters) along the way to failure.
Billy will tell them he’s all in, but he’ll want to know what he’s getting in return.
Ashley will happily hand Jabot over to him and their dad would be proud of it. Since she’s not mentioning Jack, we assume she’ll kick him to the curb after they buy him out to teach him a lesson.
It may just be us, but “The Young and the Restless” Spoilers are still waiting to hear how this is in the family’s best interest when it sounds more like Ashley wants a power grab to pay off for hating Diane.
‘The Young and the Restless’ Spoilers Thursday, August 10: New partners in crime?
While Billy’s playing his part, Adam Newman (Mark Grossman) will be playing his as he’ll be looking for any means to get back Newman Media, so he’ll press Audra Charles (Zuleyka Silver) on updates on the merger between his company and Newman Media.
Audra will inform him it’s in the works, but Adam will put her on a tight window to get it done. He wants the merger to happen before his company goes live in the next week.
Of course, Audra will lay out she has a plan to ensure it happens, and then she’ll want assurances she’ll have a job after the merger.
They’ll go back and forth, but we think they’ll come to an understanding and a mutual, ruthless respect for each other that could make things interesting down the line.
We have a feeling this will blow up in both of their faces in one way or the other, especially since Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) decreed they would be separate companies and he’s running the show.
Whose plan will backfire more spectacularly? Adam or Ashley’s? Let us know in the comments below and check back with “The Young and the Restless” Spoilers for the latest updates, spoilers, and speculation.
