‘The Young and the Restless’ (Y&R) Spoilers here and we’re all set to keep things moving with some fun spoilery goodies to share.
There’s some interesting moving and shaking going on in Genoa City, and it’ll be fun to see how badly things will backfire given all of the moving parts in play.
Without further ado, let’s get into some spoilers!
‘The Young and the Restless’ Spoilers Tuesday, August 22: Nick and Adam want their pound of flesh
It’s no secret Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) loves to manipulate anyone, especially his family, into getting what he wants, and this time it looks like everyone’s aware of what he’s up to.
Of course, he thinks he’s fully in control and he probably is since the writers never let him make a mistake, but maybe this one time they will and things will blow up in his face.
The start of it was him pulling the job opportunity out from under Sally Spectra (Courtney Hope), and “The Young and the Restless” Spoilers think it’s part of his plan to being his sons closer together.
And it looks like it’ll work for the short term as Adam Newman (Mark Grossman) and Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow) will confront Victor about his actions.
Victor will play it off as business and his decision since he owns everything, and that’ll kick start the plan Nick and Adam were contemplating with Sharon Newman (Sharon Case).
Since half of the company is hers, she’ll be able to break away from Victor or get a more than generous offer for it from him.
This will allow them to have their own company independent from Victor in general and could begin some serious issues for him.
‘The Young and the Restless’ Spoilers Tuesday, August 22: Nate’s the key
Of course, he can say he wants to bring Nick and Adam together, but he’s planning on replacing Adam with Nate Hastings (Sean Dominic), which won’t make Victoria Newman (Amelia Heinle) happy.
She’ll figure out his plan, and the fact that Nick doesn’t like or trust Nate will play a key role in this as well.
This may be what Victor has in mind, and if hating him helps Nick and Adam bond and work together, so much the better. He can always manipulate them into rejoining the family under his terms down the road.
There are so many things that can go wrong with this it screams Victor getting what he deserves, but that could be hoping for a lot.
