‘The Young and the Restless’ (Y&R) Spoilers here and we’re set to keep things moving with plenty of fun spoilery goodies to share.
This looks like it’s going to be a fun character building episode as we’re going to get a little of every parenting emotion, and these choices will make things interesting in the coming weeks.

‘The Young and the Restless’ Spoilers Wednesday, August 23: It’s over
In a move that surprises no one, Kyle Abbott (Michael Mealor) and Summer Newman (Alison Lanier) will agree to get divorced and go their separate ways.
What’s curious about this is Summer will be the one that approaches Kyle about it. It shouldn’t be as surprising as it is since he’s basically been running from her and their marriage.
He may have good reasons, but it’s something that should’ve been addressed already.
The one good thing to come out of this is they’ll both want to protect Harrison Locke (Kellen Enriquez) from as much fallout as they can, so they’ll try to keep it as civil as possible for his sake.
‘The Young and the Restless’ Spoilers Wednesday, August 23: Aria’s hard of hearing?
On another spectrum of parental emotions, Mariah Copeland (Camryn Grimes) and Tessa Porter (Cait Fairbanks) will discover their baby isn’t frightened by thunder, and they’ll even wake Aria up to check on her.
Their first thought will be that she has a hearing problem, so they’ll pay Sharon Newman (Sharon Case) a visit. She’ll try to reassure them, but she’ll also know better and call to make an appointment to have Aria’s hearing checked.
“The Young and the Restless” Spoilers are curious if Aria responded to thunder before. Given the pair’s surprise that she didn’t wake up leans that way, but if so wouldn’t they be more adamant that something’s wrong instead of just worried?
This is a tough situation for sure, and we hope Aria’s just a sound sleeper or has a cold of some sort that’s clogging her ears.
‘The Young and the Restless’ Spoilers Wednesday, August 23: The next generation
After learning his daughter and Kyle are divorcing, Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow) won’t be in the best frames of mind, but Sally Spectra (Courtney Hope) will soothe him and the two will get to talking.
They’ll get around to discussing what kind of parents each of them will be and that’ll lead to talking about having children of their own someday.
This will be a good heartwarming scene between the pair as they look to the future and what might be.
