‘The Young and the Restless’ (Y&R) Spoilers here and we’re set to close the week out with plenty of fun spoilery goodies to go around.
There’s a lot happening I this episode, and most of it has a great chance of blowing up in Victor Newman (Eric Braeden)’s face given the combustible elements at play.

‘The Young and the Restless’ Spoilers Friday, August 25: Victor’s dangerous game
Victor never has a problem manipulating his children in any way possible that he feels will get his desired results.
In this case, he’s all in on Nate Hastings (Sean Dominic) and Audra Charles (Zuleyka Silver) after they impressed him. For Nate, Victor agrees with his assessment of SNB Media’s business plan and Audra will impress him with her courage to ask if she’ll have a job going forward.
Not to mention merging SNB and Newman Media, which will have other far reaching implications he’s not aware of yet.
One thing he is aware of is that Victoria Newman (Amelia Heinle) is out of town on business, and she’ll return too late to stop what he’s planning.
As for Audra, he’ll view her as someone he should be mentoring.
Nikki Newman (Melody Thomas Scott) won’t like any of these ideas and will warn him about Nate and Audra and how Adam Newman (Mark Grossman) is the wildcard, but Victor’s mind is made up.
‘The Young and the Restless’ Spoilers Friday, August 25: The new power structure
Now that Adam is getting what he wanted with the merger, he’s also going to be thinking ahead as far as reclaiming Newman Media.
Of course, there’s going to be some pushback from Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow) and Sharon Newman (Sharon Case), especially after Nick learns he unilaterally offered Sally Spectra (Courtney Hope) a job without consulting them.
Since he did the same with Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford), it’s setting a precedent and when confronted about it, Adam will declare they can’t work as a unit and there needs to be one person in charge – him.
Nick and Sharon will argue the point with him and try to get him to not lose himself in his quest for power, but “The Young and the Restless” Spoilers have a feeling they’re fighting a losing battle.
This has so much potential to blow up in everyone’s faces thanks to Victor’s meddling. Do you think everyone will find a way to coexist or will this be the one move that fractures the Newman family permanently?
