There’s an interesting twist coming in this episode as well as one we kinds suspected would be happening before too long, so it should be fun to see unfold.
It looks like the Abbott family war isn’t over, just having new battlelines drawn. Let’s dive into some spoilers!
‘The Young and the Restless’ Spoilers Tuesday, August 29: Something else planned?
Tucker McCall (Trevor St. John) has been flying under the radar throughout the Abbott family war as he’s tried to guide Ashley Abbott (Eileen Davidson) toward letting go and moving on with him.
But there’s a chance he has more of a stack in acquiring Jabot than he’s let on, and the fact he’s going to out that he and Ashley offered Billy Abbott (Jason Thompson) Jabot to Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman) could be a sign.
Or it could be something he and Ashley discussed off camera we’re not privy to so the drama stays ramped up.
Whatever the reason, he’ll help form a rift between Billy and Jack that’s part show but partly real, and it looks like Jack might help feed into Billy’s ambition by accident with a slight or being hesitant about Billy’s motives.
“The Young and the Restless” Spoilers think there’s a good chance this could lead to another battle line being drawn in the war, and could help draw Tucker out more if he does indeed want Jabot.
‘The Young and the Restless’ Spoilers Tuesday, August 29: Ashley’s uncertain
In an unexpected twist, Ashley’s going to have her world and beliefs rocked when she starts choking on some food while verbally sparring with Diane Jenkins (Susan Walters).
What’s going to make this something to behold is that after all of the hate and division Ashley’s thrown at Diane and Jack, when she needs help Diane won’t waste any time in performing the Heimlich and saving her life.
This will rock Ashley as she’ll try to process that the woman she hates the most in the world saved her life. What’s more, she’ll know that if the roles were reversed she would’ve hesitated.
She would’ve thought Diane was faking and by the time she reacted it’d be too late. This could cool off this branch of the Abbott family war, hence why another front could be starting to prolong things.
