‘The Young and the Restless’ (Y&R) Spoilers here and we’re all set to keep things moving with some fun spoilery goodies to share.
This episode is going to be a reset to some old storylines many have grown tired of, and it’ll be interesting to see how things will settle down for everyone involved. We’ve got the popcorn, so let’s dive into some spoilers!
‘The Young and the Restless’ Spoilers Thursday, August 31: Victor shares his plan
Now that Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) has everyone gathered, he’s going to tell everyone what he plans. But first, he’ll want to hear what they have to say for his amusement.
Sharon Newman (Sharon Case) will tell him she wants out and she wants her company back, and Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow) defends her to his dad.
Victor will refuse, most likely out of spite and Sharon wanting to try to turn it around and have a successful company that cares about people goes against his religion.
In the end, there’s going to be some big changes as Adam Newman (Mark Grossman) is out, and Nate Hastings (Sean Dominic) may be joining him.
Victor will inform them that Nick will be Victoria Newman (Amelia Heinle)’s COO and Nikki Newman (Melody Thomas Scott) will be Newman Media’s CEO with Audra Charles (Zuleyka Silver) as her COO.
Since Victoria is in LA, things are going to get really interesting when she gets back.
‘The Young and the Restless’ Spoilers Thursday, August 31: Sharon takes the necessary steps
With Victor being, well, Victor, Sharon’s going to take the steps she needs to reclaim her company from his clutches. With Nick at her side, she’s going to call Michael Baldwin (Christian LeBlanc) about her options.
This should prove interesting since Michael gave up working for Victor to defend Diane Jenkins (Susan Walters), and if he helps Sharon Victor isn’t going to like that one bit.
There’s a great chance Victor’s controlling nature will tear his family apart, and with Adam declaring war on Victor, it looks like Victor’s victory lap as being the top dog in the yard may be short lived as he’s set up for a huge fall.
This should’ve happened years ago, and probably won’t happen now either, but it would be a cool storyline for Adam to take over the company and prove he’s every bit his father’s child.
There are so many ways they can go with this, it’ll come down to whether the writers take the exciting road or follow the same path they have for years and keep Victor invincible.
