When Bryan Danielson would step into the ring at AEW All Out – he was ready for war. Having stepped up to defend the honour of Ricky Steamboat – he would force a referee stoppage in a strap match against Ricky Starks.

While he won the battle, the war raged on – and Starks would pick up a dirty win in a tag team match. Tonight, they intend to finish this – as they go one on one in a Texas Death Match. This means no rules, and to win – someone must either surrender, or be knocked out.

Ricky Starks Intends To Put Danielson Six Feet Under

As Danielson hit the ring during his entrance, Starks would hit the spear – and stomp Danielson into the corner. Danielson would fight back before taking punches to the face.

Starks has told Big Bill to stay in the back, and Danielson did the same with Blackpool Combat Club. Danielson would send Starks to the floor, and hit the Suicide Dive – crashing Starks into the barricade.

A brawl into the crowd would follow, with Danielson using the trash can and some stiff Texas Jabs – making Dory Funk proud.

Danielson would kick the chest of Starks, as they brawled back to the ring. Starks would drop Danielson by the barricade, before a springboard dive – going right into the front row after impact.

Danielson would fight back – using his head for a series of headbutts with a dead look behind his eyes. Back in the ring, Starks would have his knees stomped hard into the mat – before the nose was grabbed, and the Romero Special would follow. Danielson would tweak the hold to keep the pain constant, before Starks would slip free and head to the floor.

Starks would use the ring bell to strike Danielson twice – before taking the microphone. He’d say Danielson is dead tonight, and will put ‘this asshole six feet under’.

Starks would bound the head of Danielson off the announce table, and punches would follow – getting Danielson bloody along the way.

Bryan Danielson Is The Dragon Who Won’t Be Slayed

Using the microphone as a weapon next, Starks would bash Danielson in the head before wrapping the knee around the ring post – and swinging the steel chair.

Starks would climb to the top rope – but Danielson would recover and use the steel chair to stop him. A superplex was planned, but Starks would bite Danielson to prevent this – before Danielson hit the Spider Suplex, sending Starks to the mat and remaining on the top rope.

Danielson would soar for a missile dropkick, before more kicks – nailing the chest of Starks before a Buzzsaw Kick to the face.

Starks would respond by throwing a steel chair at Danielson before stomping the head into the chair. Danielson would be met with the strap – which Starks brought out from under the ring.

Starks would get Danielson down, but wasted time taunting. Danielson would recover, before Starks used a steel chain to increase the brutality of a punch.

In the ring, Starks would choke Danielson with the chain – but The American Dragon refused to stop. Starks tried for the knockout – but Danielson got back up at the eight count.

Danielson would use the counter to escape the chain, and blocked a Spear into the LeBell Lock. Starks would get the chain – but would get flashbacks to All Out as Danielson would wrap it around the throat and choked him out. Danielson would not get the victory so easily, with Starks firing up to get free.

Hard elbow smashes would follow from both men – before Starks took the running knee strike – which sent a chair into his head.

Danielson would be ready to kick his head in, using the chair for extra damage. Starks would spit at Danielson, before more brutal stomps to a bloody opponent. Danielson wrapped the chain around his knee – and Starks was down for the ten count.

A wrestling fan practically since birth, who has been hooked since he got his first toy wrestling ring for Christmas as a child. Since getting access to the internet, he's watched more wrestling than he could ever remember from all around the world. It's hard to keep track of what happens in the wild world of professional wrestling, but he always tries to stay up to date. Note: No relation to Tully Blanchard of Four Horsemen fame (probably).
