Jade Cargill signing with the WWE has made headlines everywhere in the wrestling world, but while she had great potential there’s a consensus that she needs to hone her skills and that’s the main reason she’s with WWE NXT.
It’s not surprising since the WWE has just about everyone go through their developmental brand unless they’re returning WWE superstars that have already been through the process.
Becky Lynch Looking Forward to Facing Jade Cargill When She’s Ready
They want to teach everyone the WWE way, and it has its up and downs when talent moves to the main roster.
For Cargill, she’s not the only one expecting big things, though Becky Lynch tempered her enthusiasm when she spoke with The New York Post’s Joseph Staszewski.

Putting the work in
It was only a matter of time until the topic came up, and with Lynch currently the NXT Women’s Champion and a former multi time champion on the main brand, it makes sense to get her thoughts.
“I watch all the products. I think it’s great. More women with more platforms. I think she has a lot of work to do when she gets here, but if she is willing to do that, just look at her. She’s a star. It’s more people for me to get in the ring with and kick their asses.”
While it looks like Lynch said this in kayfabe, some fans didn’t take it as such, and when Wrestle Features shared a tweet quoting her fans let their opinions be known.
As expected, Cargill fans and Lynch haters took up arms in saying Cargill was already better than Lynch or that Lynch should be fired.
Others agreed with Lynch’s comments to varying extent and we expect this feud to go on for a bit as there’s every chance the WWE will use it as fodder for a rivalry between the two for the NXT Women’s Championship.
No shame in NXT
What’s odd is how NXT is seemingly considered a low end destination when their women’s division is booked better than AEW and WWE’s main brands.
Both Becky Lynch, Seth Rollins, and other current superstars have come up through NXT so it’s a proven training and developmental brand that’ll help bring the best out of her.
It wouldn’t surprise us if she starts moving up the ladder pretty quickly to challenge Lynch since she is a former champion and it’d help fast track her to the main roster.
Of course, this is assuming everything works out. We have no doubt it will and she’ll become a big star in the company and may even reach her goal of being in the WWE Hall of Fame.
