Things are heating up in Salem as summer’s coming to a close, and there’s going to be some fun times coming with plenty of chances for more chaos.

‘Days of Our Lives’ Spoilers Wednesday, September 6: A helping hand
Things escalated quickly as EJ DiMera (Dan Feuerriegel)’s hitwoman made it to Bayview in record time since his phone call and meeting, but there was a snag waiting for her.
For various reasons, Harris Michaels (Steve Burton) and Ava Vitali (Tamara Braun)’s instincts kicked on at the same time when she entered the room with a syringe, and when questioned she pulled a gun.
Of course, using it would limit her escape and “Days of Our Lives” Spoilers question how she made it through security, but then given how the hospital in general and police station have no security, why would a mental hospital?
We expected Harris to help save Ava, but it looks like Ava will save him since the hitwoman had the upper hand on him when Ava relied on her mob princess training to use the killer’s gun against her.
Now, it looks like Harris will return the favor and chances are it could involve a jailbreak, and that will only make things more intense.
‘Days of Our Lives’ Spoilers Wednesday, September 6: Into the fire
With the shooting happening at Bayview, it’s no surprise someone will contact the Salem police department, and Rafe Hernandez (Galen Gering) looks like he’s going to be the one on hand to respond.
Given his past with Ava this should be a fun twist for him and it could be why Ava tries to run or will leave Harris no choice but to help her in some way.
He won’t want to break the law or anything, but he may not be left with a choice depending on how things work out.
Of course, Rafe could also get through to her to a degree, but we doubt she’ll trust him like he hopes she will.
‘Days of Our Lives’ Spoilers Wednesday, September 6: Johnny causes a headache for EJ
While all of that is going on, EJ may have another problem to deal with when Johnny DiMera (Carson Boatman) joins him and discovers what he’s up to.
This will lead to Johnny lecturing EJ about how he’s better than this and so on, assuming Johnny can read EJ’s true intentions.
In the end, Johnny could convince EJ to try to halt the hit, but it will be too late and we’re sure EJ won’t be happy to hear that.
