It has been a few weeks since WWE fans have seen former WWE Women’s Champion Liv Morgan in action. Last seen in a WWE Women’s Tag Team Championship match on the July 17th episode of Monday Night RAW – Morgan has been off TV for nearly two months. This led to many rumours of an injury – which have now been confirmed by Morgan herself.
Liv Morgan Confirms She Is Out With An Injury
During a feature for Muscle & Fitness – Liv Morgan would speak about her diet, and confirmed that she is currently out of action with an injury.
“It took me a while to fully understand that proper fuel makes for better athletic performance. I know that’s common sense, but to have the willpower to act on that at 2 am when you’ve got a 4-hour drive to the next show is really difficult. The only places that are open are fast food outlets a lot of the time.
I’m actually out injured right now and aside from healing up, my focus has been on my nutrition, so it’s been really exciting honing in on that. I want to come back in the very best shape of my life, so right now, I am eating clean, tons of fresh fruits and veggies. I’m basing my carb intake on the amount of physicality and energy I expend each day. I do believe life is about balance, though, so I still order a cheeky little dessert with dinner sometimes.”
This has been suspected to be a shoulder injury, and there is no current timeline for a return to the ring known for Morgan. With 2023 coming to an end, and the 2024 Royal Rumble fast approaching – WWE could choose to keep Morgan off the side, and create a surprise return moment.
Earlier this year, Morgan lasted from the start of the Royal Rumble match until the end – before finally being eliminated by Rhea Ripley.
