    WWE Raw Results (10/2) – Drew McIntyre Defeated The Miz by Pinfall; Intercontinental Championship – GUNTHER (c) Defeated Tomasso Ciampa by Pinfall; Johnny Gargano Returned to Make the Save Against Imperium

    WWE Raw Results Returned as Miz argued with the ref that he shouldn’t have to compete in a suit, and then led Drew on a chase.

    Drew caught him and pulled him from the ring and bounced Miz off the barricade and ring apron several times before Mis slipped free and shoved Drew into the ring post.

    Miz caught him rolling into the ring with kicks and stomps, but Drew caught his clothesline in the corner and hit a couple of belly to belly suplexes and a neckbreaker followed by a kip up.

    Miz caught him in the ropes and hit a double knee and tried to remove a turnbuckle pad but the ref caught him.

    Drew caught him with a Glasgow Kiss when he turned around and readied for a Claymore but changed his mind and pulled out his sword and handed it to the ref so he could remove the turnbuckle pad Miz tried earlier and hit a Future Shock DDT for the win.

    After the match, Drew said he did some serious thinking but he’s not the same man he was 30 seconds ago and he’s sorry for what he did, but now that he said that he’s forgiven and left the ring.

    Cody came out to the stage for an interview, and he was asked if he feels he was backed into this match.

    He said he never expected to tag with Jey Uso and it’s the Judgement Day that backed themselves into a corner.

    He’s going to be at Smackdown this week just like they are and so will Jey and they’ll go onto Fastlane to win the tag titles and next week will be a far different Monday Night Raw.

    Intercontinental Championship – GUNTHER (c) vs. Tommaso Ciampa

    Ciampa started it off by backing GUNTHER into a corner with a series of strikes and went for a Sicilian Stretch, but GUNTHER got to the ropes, to Ciampa hit a series of clotheslines.

    Gunther took Ciampa down and went for a Boston Crab, but Ciampa for free and headed to the floor where he drove GUNTHER into the ring post and hammered on him.

    Back in the ring, Ciampa locked in the Sicilian Stretch for GUNTHER made it to the ropes to break the hold.

    Ciampa chopped away on GUNTHER, and GUNTHER put an end to that with a body slam and choked him out on the ropes.

    Ciampa hit a series of clotheslines, but GUNTHER ducked the last one and slapped on a sleeper, but he released it to hit a knee and a side headlock and then back to the sleeper Ciampa broke with a jawbreaker.

    GUNTHER nailed him with a big boot for a near pinfall.

    Ciampa caught GUNTHER with another Sicilian Stretch but GUNTHER made it to the ropes again.

    GUNTHER pulled him to the floor and threw him into the barricade and onto the apron to buy some time.

    Ciampa avoided GUNTHER and GUNTHER hit the announce desk and Ciampa pressed his advantage by slamming GUNTHER’s right hand into the announce table.

    GUNTHER threw him into the ring, but Ciampa hit a Widow’s Bell for a near pinfall.

    Ciampa went for a Fairy Tale Ending, but GUNTHER blocked it, so Ciampa focused on GUNTHER’s injured hand and then stomped away on him.

    Ciampa ran into a dropkick and GUNTHER nearly scored the pinfall but Ciampa kicked out.

    GUNTHER went for a powerbomb but his injured hand gave out and Ciampa hit a reverse DDT and a running knee for a near pinfall.

    GUNTHER hit a Sleeper/Dragon Suplex for a near pinfall, but Ciampa also landed on his head but managed to kick out and continue the match.

    Ciampa locked in a Sicilian Stretch and GUNTHER eventually reached the ropes with his foot. Ciampa fired up and they traded chops.

    So close!

    CUNTHER fought off of Ciampa’s shoulders to hit a pair of power bombs and then locked in a sleeper for technical submission when Ciampa passed out.

    This was an awesome match and a great way to end the night!

    After the match, Vinci and Kaiser came out and stomped away on Ciampa as GUNTHER headed to the back. Johnny Gargano returned and sent Imperium to the floor as he made the save.
