GUNTHER is knocking on the door of history as WWE Intercontinental Champion. Having recently broken the record set by Macho Man Randy Savage, there’s just one reign longer than his.
However, the record set by Honky Tonk Man isn’t the concern of The Ring General tonight, because he’s faced with two time WWE Champion Drew McIntyre tonight at SummerSlam. Having clashed with McIntyre back at WrestleMania 39, GUNTHER knows he’s no joke – and will need to be on the top of his game tonight.

This would get a two count, and when McIntyre started the countdown for the Claymore – GUNTHER would roll from the ring.

If he can’t stop the reign – it really questions who can possibly stop him. GUNTHER is expected to crash through the record set by Honky Tonk Man – and might set his own untouchable record in the process.
