There is a lot of apprehension about the possibility that Prince Harry’s book and TV appearances may have permanently damaged his already fragile relationship with the Royal Family.
Relationship Expert Valon Asani Offers Hope Of A Reconciliation Between Harry And The Firm-‘Show Empathy And Understanding’
A relationship specialist, however, believes that there is still hope even though the Duke has openly expressed the existing grievances and the communication between the two sides has deteriorated.
The much-anticipated book kept up with its commitment to divulge intriguing details. There were reports of a physical altercation between Harry and Prince William at Nottingham Cottage in 2019.
This was alongside the variety of personal narratives, including Harry’s drug use, his experience of losing his virginity, and the story of how he had a frostbitten penis at the wedding of William and Kate Middleton.
Even though there is still tension, Harry has also expressed his wish to be reunited with his father and brother. Valon Asani, an expert on relationships, has suggested certain measures that Harry and the Royal Family can take to reestablish their special connection.
In his comments, Asani said: “Acknowledging how the other party feels, whether you agree or not, can show empathy and understanding that can then lead to more effective communication to be built.”
As of now, this has not happened. The firm has kept quiet about the memoir by carrying on with business as usual. So much so that when a reporter asked William and Kate about Harry’s memoir, they ignored the question.
While it is understandable since King Charles III does have his Coronation coming up in May of this year, there has to be an element of give and take.
Asani’s following comments confirmed as much: “Reaching out to the other party and offering some sort of gesture, whether this is an invite for coffee, or a kind letter, can establish a platform for which the relationship can start to be rebuilt.”
