General Hospital actor Kin Shriner, known for his role as Scott Baldwin, recently shared on social media about a medical procedure he underwent.
GH Kin Shriner Had Surgery
While details are unclear, it seems to be a follow-up surgery on his foot, following a boating accident in 2019.
Shriner shared a video jokingly comparing the hospital setting to his workplace, General Hospital.
Fans were relieved to see a later update indicating a successful procedure and Shriner recovering at home with movies and rest. He also mentioned using a knee scooter for mobility.

Kin Shriner Talks About His Character
While recovering, Shriner even chimed in about his General Hospital character’s current storyline. Scott recently agreed to represent Ava Jerome (Maura West) in her custody battle with Sonny Corinthos. (Maurice Benard)
Some GH fans still hope for a romantic reunion between Scott and Ava, while others enjoy their renewed friendship.
The on-screen duo is often referred to as “Scava” by fans, but Shriner humorously suggested a name change, perhaps due to the name’s resemblance to a skin rash.
Overall, it’s encouraging to see Shriner in good spirits after the surgery. Fans are wishing him a speedy recovery.
