It is no longer news that Prince Andrew is going to stand trial for a sexual assault civil lawsuit after a US judge overruled his bid to dismiss the case.
The accuser Mrs. Virginia Guiffre claims that the Duke of York abused her sexually and offensively on three different events while she was still a minor. Although Prince Andrew has strongly denied all the charges, the Duke of York is already paying the price for these allegations even before trial.

The Duke of York’s renouncement at the Royal & Ancient Golf Club of St. Andrews comes a few weeks after Prince Andrew lost his honorary titles at three golf courses in Northern Ireland: Royal Portrush, Royal Belfast, and Royal County Down.
Moreover, to add more misery to Prince Andrew’s woes, a reliable source inside the Buckingham claims that Queen Elizabeth is currently considering the option of removing Prince Andrew as one of the four Counsellors of State.
