Clarence house announced that wife of Prince Charles, Camilla Parker Bowles, has also tested positive for Coronavirus just some days after Charles tested positive. On February 10, it was confirmed by Palace officials that the prince was indeed infected with the coronavirus, for the second time.
Duchess Camilla Did Not Self-Isolate When Prince Charles Tested Positive
Although the Camilla Parker Bowles, Duchess of Cornwall has been triple vaccinated, she caught the virus. The spokesman from Clarence house said that, “The Duchess of Cornwall has tested positive for Covid 19 and is self-isolating.” What a lot of people are concerned about is whether or not the Queen Elizabeth has tested positive for the Coronavirus.
Camilla Parker Bowles Tests Positive For Cavid-19 For The First Time
This is due to the fact that a number of top officials that met with the Queen in the past weeks have tested positive, including her son Prince Charles. Last week, it was confirmed by Royal officials that Queen Elizabeth had no symptoms of the disease, but they had refused to make any express statement about the Queen’s health.
“The situation will continue to be monitored” shared a representative when speaking on the Queen’s current health status.
Usually, members of the Royal family take a lateral flow test before they perform any form of public engagement. It was from one of these that it was confirmed that Prince Charles was Covid-19 positive, although he wasn’t showing any symptoms and was even triple vaccinated.
Duchess Camilla had not self-isolated when Prince Charles was tested positive; this was because she was also vaccinated and she had tested negative in her last test-in line with COVID rules in the United Kingdom. It is understandable that the public wants to know how things are going with Queen Elizabeth’s health, but the Queen is entitled to her privacy.
“She is head of state and there is a sense that the public does need and want to know, but at the same time, she’s very elderly and entitled to certain amount of medical privacy.” Prince Charles and Duchess Camilla will be in isolation for a number of days and will only be allowed to end the isolation if they do not show any Covid symptom.
