Prince Harry reportedly had a very bad temper that would often be expressed in the presence of others.
Royal Expert Claims Prince Harry Was Very Volatile-‘The Boy’s Got A Temper’
That is according to Royal expert Robert Lacey. It is not surprising to hear that Harry may have been irked by his upbringing in the Royal family. Outside of the riches that he was afforded, he did have to deal with a lot of turbulence.
His mother, Princess Diana, had tragically died in a car accident in Paris when he was very young. Not only that, but his own actions in the public eye did not do himself any favours.
After all, he was once pictured wearing a Nazi suit at a party. And after having left the Royal family in 2020, he has only now begun to live a life without any constraints.
In his book entitled ‘Battle of Brothers’, Robert said: “Harry has freely confessed to his own blazing temper from time to time.
“In the years after her 2005 marriage to Prince Charles, Camilla has recounted to her own family and close friends her surprise at discovering this unexpected side to Prince Charming — ‘The boy’s got a temper!’”
If these comments are taken to be true, then they are significant for the following reasons. First of all, it may explain why Harry does not have a great relationship with Duchess Camilla.
Not only did she have an affair with his father, while he was married to his mother, he clearly could not put it to one side as shown by his anger.
Secondly, it demonstrates Harry’s tendency to be stubborn, as he has still not managed to reconcile with the Royals, in particular his father, despite the latter being next in line to the throne.
In Harry’s defence, the same charge has been directed at Prince William too. Robert Jobson in his book, ‘Charles at Seventy: Thoughts, Hopes and Dreams’ stated: “[They both had an] alarming and irrational mood swings and temper[s] impossible to deal with.”
Now that Harry and William have become parents, their outlook may not be what it once was. That is why they should be given the benefit of the doubt.
