Supporters of Prince Harry and Meghan Markle have slammed a Royal-themed float that was deemed to be mocking the pair.
According to reports, the couple were shown on a float parade through New Orleans in light of the Mardi Gras celebrations.

In the pictures here, we can see that Harry is shown to be coming out of the toilet, while Meghan is wearing something that states ‘Windsor Whiner.’
Meanwhile, Queen Elizabeth II was seen reading a newspaper, as Prince Charles had a speech bubble stating, “Find your Camilla”
Despite it all being done in jest, not everyone was happy to see this. Supporters of Harry and Meghan came out in large numbers to slam the treatment that the pair were getting.
This is particularly since the pictures emerged shortly after the duo were given an NAACP award to pay homage to their contribution to public service.
One fan wrote : “The Sussexes have also done much more which wasn’t included by #NAACPImageAwards… It provides case management, therapy, classes and more to homeless pregnant women who have nowhere else to turn.”
Nevertheless, not everybody was on the side of the couple. And their critics were very vocal about that.
But rather than this being motivated by racism, which Meghan has spoken to be a victim of in the past, it was simply a distaste for the manner in which they carried themselves in the public.
One user stated: “lol. you know you’ve truly made it in America when you have a parade float decorated in your honour. Congrats to the happy couple.”
While another remarked: “(Yes, that’s Harry popping out of a toilet) huge, well-known Mardi Gras parade in New Orleans where it is extremely diverse, so please don’t say it’s a race thing.”
The parade certainly managed to get the attention of the people, which was what the organisors exactly wanted. Unfortunately, for Harry and Meghan, the perception from the event merely highlighted the negative public opinion that is there about them.
