In a recent red-carpet interview with Entertainment Tonight, Julia Fox said that dating Kanye West for those brief weeks was a great experience for her. As a matter of fact, she called it “the best thing that could have happened” to her.

The interview took place during the New York premiere of The Batman which releases Friday, March 4. With the Kanye-Kim divorce being one of the biggest ongoing sagas at the moment, obviously, the juicy question for Fox was about her time with West. When asked about dating him she said:
“I mean, it was the best thing that could’ve happened to me. It kind of re–it was like hitting a reset button. It kind of brought a spark back into my life that I had kind of forgotten about.”
Prior to dating Kanye West, Julia Fox was married to a Brooklyn-based private pilot for two years before separating in 2020. She linked up with West while in Miami during New Year’s Eve. The two hit it off instantly and would spend time in New York just days later.
This all occurred not even a month after Kanye West pleaded for Kim Kardashian to take him back during the Free Larry Hoover benefit concert in Los Angeles on December 9. The following day, Kardashian would push forward with being declared legally single and was said to be uncomfortable with being put on the spot during the performance of “Runaway”.
Fox was showered with gifts from the Chicago-born superstar but there was still this thing with West where he continued to pursue Kardashian and attack Pete Davidson. With West’s Super Bowl Sunday Instagram posts—now deleted, by the way—the relationship ended just as quickly and loudly as it began six weeks prior.
Since then, West has dropped a diss track towards Kim Kardashian and Pete Davidson. March 2 saw the Kimye marriage end in divorce when a judge declared the model and SKIMS owner legally single. Now, Kanye West has moved on to model and influencer Chaney Jones.
As for Julia Fox, she and West are still friends. She also said that she’s in no hurry to get back into the dating pool telling ET:
“I don’t even have the time to, like, brush my hair. I mean, if I meet someone, yes. If nature plays its course, and someone comes along, I’d be more than happy to entertain that. But I’m not looking for anything right now.”
