The long and intense rivalry between LA Knight and Grayson Waller has reached its breaking point. Knight is ready to prove his toughness once and for all against Waller, and tonight the stakes have never been higher.
It’s not a match that Waller can steal a win during with a roll up – as instead, tonight they will meet in a Last Man Standing match. There are no rules, pinfalls, or submissions – as the only way to win is keep your opponent down for the referees ten count.
MSK Step Up To Imperium With The Creed Brothers Out
Before this match started, we’d hear that The Creed Brothers won’t be able to make it to the ring tonight for their WWE NXT Tag Team Championship match. Instead, MSK have stepped up to challenge Imperium.
Being the runner up team in the Dusty Rhodes Tag Team Classic, and the team that Imperium took the belts from – they have as good a claim as anyone, and after they win – Creed Brothers get their first shot.
LA Knight Wastes No Time Getting This Fight Started
Waller would be attacked before he even hit the ring – and the bell rang. Knight would drop Waller across the barricade, before hitting a right hand to the face. Looking under the ring for some weapons, Knight settled on a trash can before having his face driven off the barricade.
Back in the ring, Knight would make the comeback and stomp Waller into the corner – before the running knee strike. The stun gun onto the top rope would get Waller an opening, and some knee strikes to the face before hitting the Rolling Stunner. Knight would find his feet by the count of seven, and he’d catch Waller on the top rope with a superplex good after.
BFT would land on Waller, who would roll to the floor to break the ten count. The trash can would meet the face of Knight, before Waller used the lid as well. A table was set up at ringside, before Knight wanted to set up a powerbomb – but ended up dropped with a back body drop.
Sanga Saves Grayson Waller Twice
They’d battle up into the rafters, and Waller would look to throw Knight off – before being sent falling himself. Sanga would catch Waller before he hit the ground, and Knight would get chokeslammed on the apron. We’d get a quick update on the Creed Brothers – and the MSK match was confirmed.
Knight had stolen the handcuffs that Waller brought to the ring – and used them to take out Sanga. Neckbreaker would land, before Knight landed a powerslam. Waller would be tossed over the top rope and through the table, and he was just barely able to answer the ten count.
Knight put the trash can over the head of Waller and swung for the fences with the steel chair. Announce table was prepped, but Waller knocked out Knight with a blackjack. Jumping from the top rope, the elbow drop through the table would land. Waller made his feet by climbing Sanga, and Knight did not.
