For the last few weeks, Omos has been intent to going to WrestleMania by destroying everyone in his path, and after demolishing Apollo Crews and Commander Azeez in a handicap match there appears to be no one left.
Well, almost no one.
Bobby Lashley’s been out with a reported shoulder injury (concussion protocol in storyline), so he could be ready to come back.
The news broke last night after Raw and Omos promising to break anyone that challenges him. Given that after months of being teased, Veer is scheduled to appear on Raw on April 4 — the Raw after WrestleMania.
Since Omos separated from AJ Styles, both of them have received solid pushes with Styles facing Edge in a dream match and Omos destroying everyone in his path.
Aside from Styles, Omos hasn’t face a top star yet and it doesn’t feel right for him to face Veer at WrestleMania.
Source states, as of now, Omos is indeed getting a singles WrestleMania match. And his opponent may surprise some people…
It’s not Veer. Or Cody for that matter.

Setting the stage
If Lashley is cleared to return, this would be a clash between two of the strongest men in the WWE.
After wrestlevotes’ tweet, Fightful Select claimed he’ll face Lashley and they’re generally one of the most accurate sites.
If this is true, we’ll likely see Lashley return to Raw next week and look to reestablish himself after not having a chance to defend his title reign at Elimination Chamber.
The problem with this is there won’t be much of a build up for the match, but that’s standard in the WWE anymore.
Basically, we expect Lashley to walk out and get in Omos’ face to set up a clash between the Titans.
Another issue is how will the match end as Omos, like Andre, will be better served by winning against Lashley, and Lashley wouldn’t look weak if they have an match that lasts longer than a few minutes.
If Lashley can push Omos and maybe come close to making him tap out to the Hurt Lock before Omos rallies, both will come out of this looking awesome and Omos will have the big win he needs.
Given how the WWE loves 50/50 booking and ending matches with double countouts, disqualifications, and no contests, it’s possible the WWE will take their standard approach and use one of those finishes.
It’ll leave the feud open to continue for another pay-per-view or allow them to go their separate ways remaining as strong as they entered the match, which we don’t think would benefit anyone.
