Former Playboy star and musician John Mayer has responded to the claims that he needs to settle down.

The 44-year-old addressed this topic of conversation during the course of his “Sob Rock” music tour. And as he took a pause from performing, he let the crowd know that he did not care what others had to say about his personal life.
In his comments, he said: “I sleep next to a row of pillows. Sometimes I put my laptop on top of the row of pillows. Sometimes I sneak my phone in there.
“Sometimes I lose my remote in there. But what I mean is, that stack of pillows doesn’t resent or hate me or bring me down.” But on closer inspection, it is safe to say that John has had a long list of failed relationships.
The star has dated some of the biggest names in the entertainment industry some of which include Jennifer Aniston, Taylor Swift, Jessica Simpson and even Katy Perry.
Although that could have played on John’s mind, it has done anything but that. He expanded on how he was happy to focus on himself until he met the right person. As of now, he is still quite far from actually achieving that.
He added: “I’m having a good time. I will meet somebody. And when I do, it will be additive and awesome and great, but until then, I’m going to be just fine.”
The reaction from the fans on social media, however, was quite the opposite. People disagreed with what John had to say and felt that he needed to find a woman as soon as possible. After all, he is not getting any younger.
One fan wrote: “John Mayer deserves a wife and kids so badly it makes me so sad people still see him as this womaniser from his 20s when he said some stupid things.”
