Rey Mysterio and The Miz are no strangers to the big lights of Wrestlemania, and have both been in main event matches. However tonight, they’re here for tag team action. Rey has brought his son Dominik Mysterio, while The Miz brings internet star Logan Paul. Anything can happen in this one, with everyone expecting Logan Paul to pull out something amazing after Bad Bunny lit up WrestleMania in 2021.
Logan Paul Makes WWE In-Ring Debut
The Miz would start this match alongside Rey, with Paul getting a cheap shot – allowing Rey to get stomped into the corner. Paul tagged in and hit some punches to the ribs, before trying to get fancy with Rey and taking a kick to the head.
Dominik got the tag and would be launched onto Miz by his dad. Paul & Miz were sent flying by Dominik before a tornillo to the floor. Miz would get the upperhand on Dominik, with Paul nailing the running powerslam for a two count. Paul would kick Dominik in the side of the head, before the Miz tagged in and grabbed a headlock.
A blockbuster from Paul would land, but only got a two count. Miz would lose control of Dominik after a tornado DDT. Rey finally got the tag, and would dive onto Miz with a senton. Sunset Flip would see Rey roll through into a kick, before a springboard moonsault. Paul saved the match, before helping with a double suplex attempt.
The Miz Double Crosses His Megastar Partner
Dominik nailed a superkick to Paul, and Mysterio got a nearfall off Small Package. Miz avoided the 619 before taking the tornado DDT. Three amigos would be attempted, but Miz blocked the third. Paul would get the tag and rush down Dominik, before looking for Three Amigos himself.
All three suplexes landed, before Paul went up top for the Frog Splash. A little Eddie Guerrero shimmy came first, before he nailed the splash for a near fall. Dominik took out Miz with a dive, before Paul would fall to a double 619 and the double frog splash. Miz got the blind tag, and hit Skull Crushing Finale for the win! Not wanting to share the glory, Miz hit Paul with the Skull Crushing Finale as well.
