From Season 1 of 1000 Lb. Best friends that aired on TLC, Meghan Crumpler and her fiancé, known only as Jon, didn’t have a place of their own. Rather, they stayed with Megan’s friend, Tina Arnold, her husband and her children. Since the season has now been wrapped up, fans wonder if Meghan has a place now or is still living with her friend.
Does Meghan Still Live In Tina’s Basement?
Meghan had revealed in her interview during the time of the show that she lived with her friend, Tina. She said, “well I actually live with Tina in her basement, so we share quite a bit.” She also described her as an amazing woman; Tina and Meghan have been friends for more than 20 years; and like Meghan and Vanessa, Tina is also from Georgia.
Despite being cramped up with the Arnold family under one roof, it appears that Meghan and her fiancé still live with Tina. In an Instagram picture that Tina recently put up on her page, Meghan is seen folding clothes; “folding clothes for 8.
A chore that follows you everywhere no matter what” Tina said in her caption—indicating that they probably still live together. Meghan also commented on the post, saying that her friend caught her folding clothes at her worst. It is however possible that Meghan no longer lives there and occasionally visits to do laundry or spend time with the family.
However, Meghan is not the only one that has had accommodation issues at the start of the show. Vanessa, one of the four best friends, was living with her sister who was not as committed to Vanessa’s weight loss journey as expected, she would occasionally bring fast foods and other foods that would make Vanessa break her diet; Meghan then advised her friend to move out.
At that time, Vanessa’s sister thought she was meaning to abandon her and Vanessa made it clear that she and her sister grew up mostly together. “I’ve never been by myself without my sister, she has never been by herself without me… it’s scary,” Vanessa confessed.
