Yujiro Takahashi has been forced to turn on some old friends, when he helped to kick Guerillas Of Destiny out from the group. Now tonight, he must go one on one with the powerhouse of the group. Tanga Loa is one of the hardest hitters in the company, matching even the fury of Shingo Takagi – and with a score to settle tonight, Takahashi best be worried. It was eight years ago at Dontaku where Takahashi betrayed CHAOS to help AJ Styles win the IWGP Heavyweight Championship, joining BULLET CLUB.

Tanga Loa Overcomes The Odds For Big Victory

Takahashi got a cheap start to this match, but Loa would quickly regain control with some heavy body slams in the ring. Loa caught Takahashi trying to flee up the ramp, only for SHO to attack from behind. Suddenly it was a two on one beatdown, and Takahashi hit a Fisherman Buster on the ramp.

We’d see Takahashi drag Loa to the ring, and hit a second Fisherman Buster for a two count. Big boot to the face and the crossface would follow, with Loa having to fight back to his feet. Fisherman Buster was countered, with Loa hitting a jackhammer. T-Bone Suplex would land, but a 619 and flying lariat would really have Loa impressing the fans.

Takahashi was able to set up the basement dropkick before the olympic slam got a two count. Miami Shine was blocked, before SHO took the referee down and hit a German Suplex on Loa. Jado helped with a lariat before SHO was hit with a powerbomb. Takahashi was able to hit Pimp Juice, but only got two. Loa would fire back with Ape Shit – and claimed a big win here tonight.

Team Six Or Nine Came To Win

Team Six or Nine have been enjoying their time as the 69th IWGP Junior Heavyweight Tag Team Champions – but it could come to an end tonight. Ryusuke Taguchi & Master Wato will meet the team that is their equal, as Yoshinobu Kanemaru brings the veteran edge and DOUKI brings some insane potential. Add in Kanemaru being a former six time champion, and you might have to give him the edge here tonight.

DOUKI would choose to start alongside Wato, with an exchange of forearm blows. DOUKI still hates Wato for treating his excursion to Mexico like a vacation, while DOUKI toiled on the Mexican indies for years. Taguchi would be able to hit a flying hip attack on Kanemaru, before DOUKI hit the suicide dive – with Wato soaring onto DOUKI last.

Kanemaru would shove Wato into the barricade before hitting a step up leg drop. Back in the ring, DOUKI would tear at the eyes of Wato before running into a backbreaker. Running leg lariat would land, but Taguchi would need to get the tag. Taguchi hit some flying hip attacks, before setting up Boma-Ye, only for Kanemaru to stop him in his tracks.

Kanemaru hit the ring and applied the Figure Four Leg Lock in the center of the ring. Taguchi was able to get the bottom rope, before British Fall, Double Stomp and Moonsault would have ended it if not for Wato breaking up the pinfall. Taguchi would be able to avoid another submission before Wato helped set up the Black Hole Vacation only for DOUKI to make the save. DOUKI would hit a springboard crossbody, before Kanemaru set up the Santori Special. It would get DOUKI instead, as Taguchi rolled up Kanemaru for the victory.
