Cameron Grimes has finally claimed the NXT North American Championship, but that just put a huge target on his back. Now, both Solo Sikoa & Carmelo Hayes are looking to put a swift end to his reign, as they all clash in a triple threat match tonight. Grimes doesn’t have to be pinned or submitted to lose the belt here tonight, so will have to be hyper alert to come out on top.

All Out Action From The Opening Bell

Hayes would start this match by getting punched out by both Sikoa & Grimes, before a big back body drop from Sikoa and a vicious PK from Grimes. He’d flee the ring before a double superkick, and was kept out of the ring by Sikoa before Grimes got the roll up for a two count. Hayes got into the ring and ran into a roundhouse kick, as Grimes looked for the Cave-In on Sikoa.

A hip toss on Hayes would see him catch Sikoa with a hurricanrana, before the springboard lariat took Sikoa down. The Fade Away would land on Grimes who was caught in the ropes, and suddenly the former champion was in control. Grimes sent Hayes to the floor and hit a PK before a diving crossbody on Sikoa for a two count.

Sikoa would nail a lariat on Hayes before sending Grimes crashing into the corner. He’d be caught with La Mistica from Hayes before he could nail a running hip attack, as Grimes set up a Spanish Fly on Hayes for a two count. Sikoa broke the pin up with a running senton, and The Street Champ was in control finally.

Hayes would look to shut him down rather quickly, taking him down and stomping him out – before dropping Grimes and dumping him to the floor. Sikoa nailed a pop-up Samoan Drop, before Grimes would get caught and tripped up while standing on the top rope. Grimes found his footing to throw some strikes – before Hayes once again found control.

    Cameron Grimes Remains Champion

Hayes would hit a Code Red on Grimes, with an assist from a superkick by Sikoa. Some heavy strikes from the Street Champion were followed by Grimes looking for a hurriarana, only to be caught in a powerbomb. He’d bring Hayes down from the top rope with a superplex, with only Sikoa leaving this move in solid shape.

Hayes & Grimes fought to their feet, before being stacked in the corner by Sikoa – who rushed in with a heavy hip attack. A launching German Suplex would catch Grimes before Hayes was powerbombed onto him. Spinning Uranage would have been the end, but Grimes made the save.

Sikoa looked for the splash but was taken down by Grimes. A double hurricanrana took both men down, but Hayes blocked a Cave-In attempt into a Codebreaker for the near fall. Hayes came off the top for the leg drop, but was caught with a superkick. Grimes was crushed with the diving splash, and Hayes made the last second save.

Super Cave-In from Cameron grimes would take down both Sikoa & Hayes, allowing him to get the huge win tonight. Cameron Grimes remains NXT North American Champion, but there’s no shame in any of these mens performance here tonight.
