Prince Harry could return to the Royal Family once Queen Elizabeth II is dead.
Prince Harry Could Return To The Royal Family After Queen Elizabeth’s Death To ‘Serve His Country’
That is according to Royal author Tina Brown. It could be argued that Harry may want to lead a rejuvenated Royal family that was looking to break away from the old norms by making it more relatable with the public.
This has already been hinted at with reports indicating that the couple may want to be part-time Royals. And if that were to be the case, then the chances of a full reconciliation happening could be on the cards.
In an interview with BBC Radio 4’s ‘Today’ programme, Tina said: “I think there will be an effort to reel [Harry and Meghan] back in at a certain point, not for a bit, but my guess is they will want to come back, eventually.
“I think when the Queen does die, I do believe there’ll be a kind of desire for Harry to serve his country.” Despite what Tina has said, it is hard to see this happening for the following reasons. First of all, Prince Charles is next in line to the throne.
And with Prince William as well as Kate Middleton having established themselves as having leading roles in the Royal family, Harry would have to patch things up with all of them if he were to consider coming back.
Secondly, there is also the obvious question of Meghan Markle, who is hardly popular with the institution. That is why Tina does not feel that this is going to be happening anytime soon.
She added: “Right now it’s not going to happen, largely because Harry keeps lobbing these fresh hand grenades at the family, just when they are beginning to think, ‘Well, can we re-establish some trust with the House of Sussex?”
If Harry does want to come back, the best thing he can do is keep on good terms with his family. So there you have it folks. What did you think about this? Let us know your thoughts in the comments section below.
