It has been an explosive season of ‘The Real Housewives of New Jersey’ as viewers have witnessed Teresa Giudice go ballistic on nearly everyone she comes in contact with. Following her feuds with Margaret Josephs and her brother Joe Gorga, Melissa Gorga is suggesting that it may be time for her to leave the show.
“I do think that she’s come to a point where she doesn’t enjoy it anymore and it’s very obvious that she doesn’t enjoy it,” explained Melissa.
RHONJ: Melissa Gorga Says Teresa Giudice Should Quit: “She Doesn’t Enjoy It Anymore”
“She doesn’t want to do a lot of the activities that we do. She didn’t want to sing with us. She didn’t want to climb the trees with us. She kind of rolls her eyes to everything so I think that if it is making her unhappy and she has a guy who’s financially stable and they want to be happy, then she should do that. Why do this if you don’t need to?”
Melissa’s remarks come after Teresa has recently revealed her plans to remain on RHONJ until the series comes to an end. In an interview with E! News’ The Daily Pop, Teresa insisted,
“I think I’m gonna ride it out,” when quizzed on her future plans as a housewife. “I started it and I think I’m going to ride it out to the end, until [Andy Cohen] doesn’t want me anymore,” she said.
Teresa and her sister-in-law Melissa have always had a contentious relationship. As Teresa plans her upcoming wedding to fiancé Luis Ruelas, Teresa admitted that she won’t have Melissa serve as one of her bridesmaids.
“I don’t feel close to you,” Teresa told Melissa during part one of the RHONJ reunion. “Let’s stop faking like we have a relationship because you’ve proved to everyone that we don’t.”
“It is what it is,” Teresa continued. “I’m not her best friend, she’s not my best friend. We’re family. I love her. She’s my sister-in-law, and vice versa. And I’m sure she loves me because I’m her sister-in-law. But do we hang out like best friends? No, we don’t, and I’m okay with that.”
In a later interview Melissa claimed to have been hurt by Teresa’s decision to exclude her from the wedding party, but include Luis’ sisters as bridesmaids.
“When I found out she was putting all Luis’ sisters and Luis’ sisters’ husbands, basically everyone in the family except for me, it was a little rough to hear at first,” Melissa shared.
While Melissa believes that it’s time for Teresa to make an exit from the show, she admitted that she doesn’t think it “would ever happen”.
