Hello and welcome to Impact Wrestling Live Results!
The Road to Slammiversary begins tonight as the Gauntlet for the Gold will be held to determine Josh Alexander’s opponent at Slammiversary for the Impact World Championship, as well as the first Ultimate X Qualifying match.
We’re set for an awesome show and will be back at 8 p.m. EST to kick off Impact Wrestling Live Results.
Segment 1
Before The Impact (BTI) – Aiden Prince vs. Ace Austin
This was a fun match to get us ready for the night as Prince looked good before Austin avoided a 450 Splash and hit the Fold for the win.
Segment 2
Ultimate X Qualifying Match – Kenny King vs. Chris Bey
This was a great back and forth with Bey closing in for the win before Maria Kanellis distracted him for King to hit a Royal Flush for the win.
Segment 3
Knockouts Tag Team Championship – The Influence (Madison Rayne, Tenille Dashwood) (c) vs. Gisele Shaw and Alisha
This was another good one, but the Influence’s teamwork was the difference in the match as they closed it out by hitting the Collab on Alisha for the win.
Segment 4
Gail Kim announced the first ever Queen of the Mountain Match at Slammiversay for the Knockouts Championship. The five competitors are Tasha Steelz, Chelsea Green, Jordynne Grace, Deonna Purrazzo, and Mia Yim.
Segment 5
Jay White and El Phantasmo vs. Josh Alexander and Tomohiro Ishii
This was a fun match as they put on a good show before Josh and Ishii double teamed El Phantasmo before Ishii hit a brainbuster for the win.
Segment 6
Gauntlet for the Gold
This was an awesome match as we got to see plenty of everything, including Mathew Rehwoldt sneaking in as a surprise entrant to eliminate Rich Swann. It came down to Chris Sabin, the first entrant, and Eric Young.
Young fought out of a Cradle Shock by going for Sabin’s eyes, then hit a piledriver for the win to face Josh Alexander for the Impact World Championship at Slammiversary.
