Impact Wrestling Results returned as Gail Kim was in the ring and talked about how Impact Wrestling will celebrate 20 years at Slammiversary, and she announced their first Queen of the Mountain Match.
She announced the five competitors of Tasha Steelz, Chelsea Green, Jordynne Grace, Deonna Purrazzo, and…
Tasha came out with Savannah Evans to interrupt Kim and she wasn’t happy about the announcement.

Tasha mocked her and accused Kim of doing anything to take away her Knockouts Championship and asked if it’s because she beat Mickie James twice.
She the insisted that Evans be the fifth competitor.
Kim put a stop to her and told her she appreciates her suggestion and pointed out the competitors are former Knockouts Champions, meaning the final competitor is Mia Yim.
Tasha lost her cool and accused Kim of making it personal, but when they went to attack her Yim came out.
Yim came in and went right after Tasha and fought Evans off, then Purrazzo came in and attacked her in a 3 on 1.
Grace and Taya Valkyrie came out to even the odds and the quickly took over and traded shots on Purrazzo before Taya clotheslined Evans to the floor and Graxe hit a spinebuster on Tasha to hold the ring.
Jay White and El Phantasmo vs. Josh Alexander and Tomohiro Ishii
Jay and Josh started it off and after they circled each other, Jay tagged out.
Phantasmo held his own early on with a takedown and wrist lock, but Josh quickly reversed it.
With Phantasmo trying to get his bearings, Jay tagged in and so did Ishii.
After a couple of shoulder blocks, Jay switched it up with some knees but to little effect as Ishii dropped him with a shoulder block and he then ran over Phantasmo when he came in.
Phantasmo beat down Josh on the floor after he jumped him. Phantasmo tagged in and hit a back rake off the top rope, then a chest rake.

Jay got into the fun while Phantasmo held Ishii, then choked him out on the ropes.
Ishii fired up but they ducked a double clothesline and hit him with a double back rake, and Jey chopped away on Ishii but to little effect and Ishii hit a powerslam.
Josh tagged in and nailed a pair of German suplexes on Phantasmo before he grabbed the ropes. Phantasmo went for his own German Suplex but Josh locked in an ankle lock.
Jay came in and went for a Blade Runner, but Josh reversed and hit a C-4 Spike but it gave Phantasmo hit a series of moves on Josh for a couple of near pinfalls.
Ishii tagged in and hit his own German suplex, but Jey tripped him in the ropes, and Josh returned the favor on Phantasmo.
Phantasmo was caught between Josh and Ishii for a series of blows before Ishii hit a brainbuster for the win.
Gauntlet for the Gold
Chris Sabin came out first to face Alex Shelley. This should get interesting pretty quick.
To say they know each other is an understatement, and they traded wrist locks and escapes to start it off.
Shelley gained a brief upper hand with a wrist lock and kept Sabin down, but Sabin countered and locked in his own wrist lock.
The third entrant was Eddie Edwards. Here we go.
Edwards entered the ring and got caught in a double team, but he countered their double back drop and fought them both off.
The Motor City Machine Guns hit their stride as they went to work, but Edwards managed to stay alive as the fourth participant came out and it’s Vincent.
Vincent and Shelley went at it while Edwards and Sabin went at it in a corner. Vincent overwhelmed Shelley early on, but the MCMG came back to drop Edwards and Vincent.

The next entrant was Steve Macklin, and he went right after Sabin and Shelley with backbreakers. He then faced off with Edwards and Vincent.
Macklin caught the MCMG with a double Caught in the Crosshairs and Vincent followed with a Red Rum.
Next out was Shark Boy and he took it to everyone before Vincent and Edwards nailed him.
Some entrants came in during the commercial break, and Bhupinder Gujjar joined them when we returned. Shark Boy was eliminated during the break.
Gujjar went after Singh and eliminated him with a dropkick. Next one out was Shera, and he went right for Gujjar.
W. Morrissey came out next and he took out Honor No More before facing off with Shera.
Morrissey eliminated Shera with a clothesline, and Vincent with a big boot.
Next out was Eric Young, and he kept his hockey mask to clock Morrissey and followed it with a piledriver on the big man.
Young eliminated Gujjar by countered his leg scissors.
Johnny Swinger came out, pushed in a mini ring by Zicky Dice. Young met him as he entered and eliminated him as Swinger continued his impersonation oft eh Bushwhakers.
After the break, Rhino came out and it looks like Morrissey was taken to the back with an injured neck.
Sabin eliminated Edwards after Edwards eliminated Shelley during the commercial break.
Moose came out next, and things are about to get interesting as he eliminated Black Taurus, and then Rhino. Heath tried to eliminate Moose, but Moose held on and fought free. Moose then dumped Heath to the floor.
Rich Swann came out and Moose met him and took some of Swann’s best shots before Swann nailed him with a cutter.

Matt Cardona was announced, but Rehwodlt entered the ring and eliminated Swann. Apparently he was the next entrant.
Next up was PCO and he went after everyone, and his first elimination was Rehwoldt. Morrissey returned and face off with PCO. They traded blows, and Macklin eliminated them both while they wrre tied up.
Moose, Sabin, Young, and Macklin were the final four, but as Moose stood tall the lights went out and Callihan appeared in the ring and eliminated Moose to cost him his title chance.
Macklin and Young joined forced to double team Sabin, but Sabin hit them with a double clothesline and hit a DDT on Young.
It took some effort, but Sabin eliminated Macklin, so now it’s Young and Sabin with the winner only coming by pinfall or submission.
Young hit a Flying Elbow for a near pinfall.
Sabin countered a whip off the ropes into a tornado DDT for a near pinfall. Young fought out of a Cradle Shock by going for Sabin’s eyes and hit a piledriver for the win.
This was a great match and they created a bunch of possible feuds, like Morrissey and Macklin going forward, and Young vs. Alexander will be a great match to celebrate 20 years.
What do you think of Young winning? Let us know in the comments below and thank you for joining Impact Wrestling Results. We had a blast and can’t wait to see you all next week.
