The British professional boxer, Amir Khan decides to retire as soon as he notices that he is not the person he used to be 10 years ago.
The pro-boxer holds a record of 34-6-0 out of which 21 are knockouts. On his fights list, most of his losses appear in the past several years indicating his downfall. He was once known for his powerful orthodox stance and brutal and fierce hands. Now, on the contrary, the mentions of his name are on articles describing his most recent loss to Kell Brook. Following his loss to Kell Brook, rumors state that he is to retire.
Floyd Mayweather Begged Amir Khan Not To Retire – Wants To Fight Him Asap

Amir Khan is a legend in the British boxing scene. He cemented his legacy as a legend of boxing and as such he wants to leave and be remembered for his wins.
However, Floyd Mayweather has a little bit different wishes regarding this. His recent expression of the will to fight the Brit may fruit with negotiations for a fight.
According to unofficial sources, Floyd Money Mayweather sent a message to the Brit asking him not to retire so soon. At least not before they have a chance to meet in the ring.
Amir did have a desire to fight the moneymaker Floyd for quite some time now. There were times when they both had callouts, but none of them finished with a bout between the two.

The last time that they had a chance to clash was in 2014. Mayweather has a poll on his Twitter account asking his followers who he should fight next. The given options were Amir Khan, or Marcos Maidana. Even though the winner of the poll is Amir, Mayweather fought Maidana twice.
So why ask something of someone after he decides that he is not doing it anymore? Why all the drama? Only Mayweather knows.
