Last week, Joe Gacy made something very clear. He’s not done with Bron Breakker – but would rather have him as an ally than an enemy. Gacy offered a chance to Breakker, allowing him to join him in changing the world. Tonight, we get the answer from Breakker – who had a week to think on this.
Bron Breakker vs. Joe Gacy II Confirmed For In Your House
Breakker crashed past Duke Hudson who was cutting a promo backstage to hit the ring, and would quickly decline the offer of Gacy. He’d also say that Gacy should have finished the job in the field he dumped Breakker into after Spring Breakin’ – because now Breakker is going to end him. Gacy would emerge up in the rafters with a microphone, but Breakker just called him to the ring.
Not taking the bait, Gacy would instead call out Breakker for his anger issues – and gave him a second chance to prove himself. He’d call for another match, and Breakker accepted it. Gacy would call for bigger stakes, and said that Breakker loses control in the match and gets DQ’d, he loses the NXT Championship.
The match is official for NXT: In Your House, joining Cameron Grimes vs. Carmelo Hayes & Pretty Deadly vs. The Creed Brothers on this Saturday night PPV event. We’d also see Indi Hartwell call out Mandy Rose, another potential match for the event.
A Tag Team Epic On NXT TV
When The Creed Brothers met The Viking Raiders at Spring Breakin‘ – they got a tainted victory. Roderick Strong interfered with a flash knee strike – and that was not how the Creed Brothers wanted this to go. So tonight, they’ve demanded a rematch – so they can defeat The Viking Raiders properly.
Ivar would be taken out of the ring by both Creed Brothers as this match started, with these rookies starting hot. Erik would drop Julius with a big forearm smash, before Viking Raiders beat him down with the War Drum. Julius would have his arm attacked, before a big lariat put him down for a two count.
Brutus would hit the ring and flaunt his insane power, beating Erik down to hit a deadlift German Suplex. Ivar was picked up with ease, and placed on the top rope for Julius to hit a dropkick. Brutus came off the top rope with a cannonball, before a commercial break.
Back from the break, Viking Raiders would look for control, and Erik completed the tag to Ivar. He’d run down Julius with a heavy lariat before back elbows to the face. Brutus would again throw his weight around, before Ivar hit a top rope Worlds Strongest Slam.
Julius would make the save, but Ivar was not pulled off the top rope and was shoved down. Ivar missed a flying splash once Julius was down – and nearly got pinned. Erik made the save, before these two teams clashed in a brawl. Ivar would hit the leg lariat before a double powerbomb got Viking Raiders the win.
