The dynamic trio of Titán, El Lidaman and Jado that left their mark on BOSJ opening night will tonight kick off action against BULLET CLUB. With Titán set to face El Phantasmo tomorrow, meeting him alongside Dick Togo & Gedo in six man tag team action will provide a good chance for some scouting.
El Lindaman Leads His Team To Victory
ELP & Lindaman would start in a battle of the El’s, with Lindaman getting rolled up for a two count. They’d lock up again with a quick series of counters, before Lindaman hit a dropkick. Gedo got the tag, and when Jado would meet him – he’d distract his long time best friend while Dick Togo would hit from behind.
ELP would hit the ever impressive super back rake, before hitting an elbow butt to the head. Togo hit a measured punch to the face before a fist drop. Jado would fire up and get the ground behind him, and hit a firm shoulder tackle.
Titán hit the ring alongside ELP, and would nail a short DDT. Lindaman hit the ring and looked for Kumagoroshi but was foiled. After Titán and Jado cleared the ring – a bridging high angle German Suplex would claim him the win, with Dick Togo being pinned.
Shingo Takagi & BUSHI Reign Supreme Over Master Wato & Hiroyoshi Tenzan
Master Wato & BUSHI will clsh tomorrow in block action, and tonight bring some heavyweight teammates for a tag team match. Wato has his mentor and NJPW legend Hiroyoshi Tenzan – while BUSHI brings KOPW 2022 holder Shingo Takagi.
BUSHI & Wato would start the match, with Wato able to kick BUSHI down to start the match off right. Wato would choke BUSHI in the corner with his boot, before tagging in Tenzan. He’d hit some slugging blows, before sending Wato back in.
A steady pace would be maintained, with the plan seemingly to just never allow Shingo in. BUSHI would block a kick however, before hitting some basement dropkicks and unleashing The Dragon. Wato was quickly sent to the floor by Shingo, and BUSHI would get back in and maintain the control.
The crowd would get behind Wato as he threw some forearm smashes and a leaping leg lariat. Shingo would get the tag and was taken down with a frankensteiner. Tenzan got the tag and hit a brainbuster on Shingo, but only got a two count.
Wato would take BUSHI out with a plancha to the floor, while in the ring Tenzan hit the Mountain Bomb for a two count. Anaconda Vice was blocked, before Shingo took Tenzan down for a sliding lariat. Pumping Bomber followed, and Shingo got the pinfall for the victory.
Robbie Eagles Pins The Legendary TAKA Michinoku
Robbie Eagles & Wheeler Yuta have some issues brewing, with Eagles wanting a ROH Pure Championship shot – but they remain a powerful duo on undercard tag team matches. Add in Tiger Mask IV, who Eagles have claimed tag team gold with – and they might be able to run the Suzuki-gun trio of El Desperado, DOUKI & TAKA Michinoku out of the building tonight.
Yuta & Desperado would kick this match off with some smooth chain wrestling, with Yuta getting the wrist lock takedown. Desperado was able to fight to his feet, only to be taken right back down to the mat. A set of arm-drags would keep Desperado grounded, before Tiger Mask came in and nailed a Butterfly Suplex, as well as some signature kicks.
DOUKI would attack Eagles on the floor with his metal pipe, while Desperado would take control in the ring. Michinoku & DOUKI would take turns beating down Tiger Mask, before applying the DOUKI CHOKEY. Tiger Mask would find the bottom rope, and the tag to Eagles.
Michinoku stalled on the headscissor attempt before applying JUST Face Lock, with Tiger Mask helping Eagles free. Turbo Backpack would land, and Eagles got the pinfall victory for this team.
