Friends and family of Kourtney Kardashian and Travis Barker gathered in Portofino, Italy, last week to attend the couple’s extravagant wedding ceremony…but noticeably absent from the festivities was Caitlyn Jenner.
While Kourtney reportedly has ‘no hard feelings’ toward Caitlyn and said that she simply ‘didn’t make the cut’ to score an invite, Jenner is said to be hurt by being excluded from the wedding. “She is shocked,” a source from Caitlyn’s team has revealed.

This isn’t the first time that Caitlyn Jenner has been given the cold shoulder from the family that she stood by for 22 years. Most recently, Caitlyn was snubbed when she was not asked to participate in ‘The Kardashians,’ the latest reality series that the famous family has rolled out.
Upon learning that she wouldn’t have a role on the new show, Caitlyn tweeted, “Of course no bad blood. I love my family and am thrilled for the show continuing. But I was shocked to learn through the press that I was explicitly excluded from the new show.” She also tweeted, “It is unfortunate to not be given the opportunity to continue with the show.” Jenner was featured as a cast member on their first reality series, ‘Keeping Up With The Kardashians’ for 20 seasons.
Things have been really rocky between Caitlyn and the Kardashian clan for quite some time. In 2017, Jenner revealed that there was a major divide between herself and some members of the family. “I don’t talk to them anymore. Kim and I haven’t talked in a year. They don’t want me in their lives, they bashed me pretty badly. It’s devastating when your kids do that. It really hurt. I don’t know what the future holds. We will see,” she said at the time.
It seemed like Caitlyn’s relationship had somewhat improved earlier this year. “My relationship with the family is, you know, fine. I mean, we do things together, my kids, this and that… Obviously, Kendall and Kylie, my flesh and blood, I’m very close to them. On the Kardashian side, I see them here and there, but I’m not really close. Kim is probably the closest,” Caitlyn divulged.
Long before her transition into womanhood, Caitlyn Jenner was known as Olympic gold medalist, Bruce Jenner. In 1991, Jenner married Kris Kardashian Jenner and would ultimately become the step-father to her four children – Kim, Kourtney, Khloe, and Rob. Jenner would also father two additional children with Kris – Kendall and Kylie.
Caitlyn played a pivotal role in Kourtney’s upbringing and served as her main father figure following the death of her biological father, Robert Kardashian Sr, in 2003. Caitlyn and Kris ended their marriage in 2013, and things have never really been the same between her and the rest of the Kardashian/Jenner family.
