Bobby Lashley and Rusev just went one-on-one here tonight on Monday Night Raw! The show is still ongoing as we speak, about halfway over now. I’m Jordan Huie of the Overtimer and I’ll be here all to give you the live recap and results as they come!
This match is part of a lengthy, very, very lengthy storyline pitting Rusev against Bobby Lashley, as they feud over Lana, who cheated on the former with the latter. Liv Morgan also got involved, interrupting the wedding between Lana and Lashley to reveal that she and the Ravishing Not-Russian were apparently lovers. She subsequently hinted that she would be in Rusev’s corner for this match here tonight, to even up the odds, as Lana would obviously be right by Bobby Lashley’s side.
But as it turns out, Liv wasn’t even there for most of the match and as soon as she showed up, it led right to a loss for Rusev. Not the best start of an alliance there.

Idiot Charge in the corner, Rusev with the boot up! Lashley gets posted! Rusev with a series of right hands! Short-Arm Clothesline! Samoan Drop! Avalanche in the corner, into an Overhead Belly To Belly! Machka Kick dodged, Lashley with a German Suplex! But Rusev no sells! Machka Kick!! Wants the Accolade, Lana distracts, Lashley escapes, clothesline collision! Now out comes Liv Morgan, finally getting herself involved! She comes out to confront Lana! She dares her to swing at her. Lana begs off… grabs someone’s beer and throws it in her face! Tosses her into the barrier! In the ring, Lashley with a spear, and that is that!
Winner: Bobby Lashley
Rusev ended up being too distracted by what was happening on the outside, being a bit of an idiot like most babyfaces in WWE.
