‘General Hospital’ (GH) Spoilers here and we’re set to keep things rolling with some fun spoilery goodies to share.
Things are going to start heating up as the struggle for power commences as the old guard tries to hold on against a ruthless surge to usurp them.
‘General Hospital’ Spoilers Tuesday, June 7: A deal he can’t refuse
This is where things are going to start getting interesting this week as Brando Corbin (Johnny Wactor) could step in to help Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) deal with some house cleaning.
We think Dex (Evan Hofer) is a potential plant by Michael Corinthos (Chad Duell) as a security option with Sonny, and now that Michaels at Defcon 1 it makes sense he’d be activated.
Brando could sense something’s off, and he’ll approach Sonny about it and offer his services if Sonny needs them.
To be fair, Sonny would be wise to surround himself with loyal family members until he finds another trusted enforcer and this could be the first step in that process.
This could be a deal Sonny won’t be able to turn down, and he may even have his own suspicions about Dex. Looks like we’re going to find out.
‘General Hospital’ Spoilers Tuesday, June 7: Ned makes a counter offer
Ned Quartermaine (Wally Kurth) has options at his disposal to try to be CEO of ELQ, and one of them is listening to his wife to work out a deal with Michael and Drew Cain (Cameron Mathison).
So, he’s going to approach Michael since Drew’s busy getting a hard push from Carly Corinthos (Laura Wright), and Michael won’t be receptive.
Michael’s stated that and by him pointing out if Ned makes a wrong decision they all suffer as well as his hard no will prompt Ned to go another route.
And that’s one Michael will like even less, but then maybe he should’ve kept Ned in the loop from the beginning instead of shutting him out.
‘General Hospital’ Spoilers Tuesday, June 7: Carly won’t take no
Michael doesn’t want Carly’s money to help boost Aurora, and neither does Drew. So, in typical Carly fashion, she’ll keep pushing Drew to accept her offer.
When he won’t give in, she’ll give him the simple option to let her help or she’ll do it anyway. Now here’s where ‘General Hospital’ Spoilers thinks things will get very interesting.
Assuming Carly invests one way or another and Ned is successful in avoiding the merger and retaining some power even if it’s split, there’s the possibility Aurora’s stocks could start dropping.
If they drop low enough and fast enough, there’s a chance Carly could lose her shirt or be harder up than she’s used to, and they could set off a whole bunch of storylines for her redemption.
Plus, Michael wouldn’t be too happy with her, and lately when he’s not happy he cuts people out of his life. There’s some cool possibilities that could play out.
