Prince Harry and Meghan Markle are unlikely to attend the UK ever again.
Sharon Osbourne Gives Damning Assessment Of Harry And Meghan-‘They Lost Their Importance, They Don’t Mean Anything’
That is according to TV personality Sharon Osbourne. Her claims arrive on the back end of the reception that the couple had received once they were in the UK. They were booed as they exited the ‘Service of Thanksgiving’ At St Paul’s Cathedral.
This was then followed up by reports that Queen Elizabeth II had banned the couple from capturing a meeting with their daughter Lilibet on camera. With that being said, the couple were no longer seen as mainstay members in the eyes of the British public.
In her comments, Sharon said: “They are of no importance. They lost their importance, they don’t mean anything, the country wasn’t that overjoyed.”
These comments have to be taken with a pinch of salt. First of all, the main focus was on the monarch who was celebrating her 70th year in charge.
And that was always going to be the case, as otherwise Harry and Meghan would have upstaged the monarch if they were given free rein to come with their cameras.
Secondly, there is an argument that the couple are equally content with playing a bit-part role. After all, they did state that they wanted to keep away from the public eye following their exit.
That is why Sharon questioned whether they would be crossing this side of the Atlantic ever again. She added: “The way they kind of came in and went, was a huge signal that I don’t think we’ll see them here much again.”
The response from the fans on social media was much similar. A significant proportion of people agreed that the couple would make limited visits, if any at all. One person wrote: “No no more visits here please. We loathe them.”
Is this the last of Harry and Meghan? And if it is, do they regret speaking out following their Royal exit? So there you have it folks. What did you think about this? Let us know your thoughts in the comments section below.
